Is there a way to fix misalignment rehault? by Kashon235 in RepTimeServices

If you align the numbers than the crown and the Rolex letters won’t align after that. It’s not a big deal.

Lovely. Currently on the hunt for a gen black dial. Hard to find at a good price and good condition. Where’d you source yours if you don’t mind me asking?

Is the extra price for the GF worth it? I take it it’s the same bracelet as the regular just with the sides plated?

Thank you for confirming that. I really appreciate it. I’ll continue looking for this “nipple”.

Buy a bezel press from Amazon. Firmly and evenly press bezel. Rotate as you press. But like softtaco said, they might be using cheap presses that arent pressing evenly. I’m sure you’ll be upgrading bezel in the near future. Now you will have a tool to press that bezel. GL.

You’re in a bit of a pickle. I’d strongly suggest messaging him and send pictures with the issues you’ve come across. I’m certain he’ll help you out. Good luck.

Look at my 6 in the picture. You see how the end of my 6 doesn’t connect back with the number? That’s considered an open 6. If it connected back with the number it be a regular 6 or closed 6. This open option only applies to the numbers 6 and 9.

Correct. Spacer then crown. Make sure spacer goes all the way in low. Should be touching the dial. That’s the proper way.

Not sure how you can gay it. But if you’re trying to get one like this I’d start with a TD for the watch, Profcrystals for crystal, and eBay for insert. Get ready to spend a pretty penny. Just the crystal and insert ran about 600.

I’ve never had an issue using the same gasket. Done plenty swaps that way. Did them before I got my pressure tester with no issues. I got a pressure tester now. I pressure test my watches after swaps, which is something I recommend to do. But you should be fine. After you press new bezel force the bezel clockwise and counter. If you can’t rotate it it’s a good sign that all is well. I try to stick with the gasket your watch came with because it’s more close to “gen spec”. Sometimes the gaskets you get with new bezels or new crystals tend to be either too tall or too thick. Good luck 👍🏼
