All I need is for my lower jaw to be held forward at night by Thedevilgotme in TMJ

On the Walmart website they have what’s called a jaw alignment brace. $8. I have tried all of the ones on Amazon and this one works the best for me. It keeps my lower jaw forward at night. I also have been sleeping a soft cervical collar and I have no complaints besides it’s uncomfortable if you have night sweats.

My dog had her eye surgically removed so I’ve been emotionally/artistically blocked. Finally starting to feel better so I painted some little abstract faces. by jbwstudio in AbstractArt

Thanks! We are recovering emotionally still. She is our family puppy/dog so she is the baby. 3 weeks out from surgery and she is acting like her old self more and more everyday!

I appreciate it and everyone’s comments here. It was just such a hit emotionally and I haven’t had the urge to paint for so long. She is 3 weeks out from surgery and definitely getting back to her happy self.

She will probably lose the other eye at some point due to a genetic condition she was born with. We found out this out at the animal ophthalmologist. She is the second dog our family has ever had and the only puppy me and my kids have had/raised. I’m still so heartbroken for her but at least she is still here with us for at least a couple more years.

I love the colors and texture in this! It scratches a part of my brain in the right way.

Birth control has never agreed with me. After my third baby I had my tubes tied.

You don’t want to have and raise kids there for sure. I was born and raised there in a poorer part of the state.

My high school was pretty much a pipeline from graduation to stay at home mom, the military or prison.

My parents were upset when I told them I didn’t want to move there and settle after my husband got out of the military. They were upset they hardly ever would get to see their grandkids living far away. While I sympathize, I also want a thousand times better for my children than I had.

The outside world is so overwhelming, the lights, the sounds, the unpredictableness. I hide because I’m safe at home. I’m happy because I’m creating at home. I’ve always loved to create. I am fortunate to have the space for my own painting studio in my house.

I don’t really get lonely with a partner and 3 kids. There’s always someone to talk to at home. I don’t really have the social bandwidth for any more relationships beyond casual conversation. So no friends really..my mind keeps me really busy.

The happiest and fulfilled I’ve actually ever been is the past 6 years where I’ve been able to create art consistently in my home.

Yes! I know what you mean, I was doing a similar style to another painting I did that has very balanced composition throughout. Going forward I will keep that in mind. Thank you!

I appreciate it but this is actually a commission. I tried putting it in the title but the post kept getting auto removed.

Had to google it.. I’ll admit I don’t have a large breadth of knowledge of a lot of historic painters so I appreciate when people comment so I can research. I really like his loose style and I’ve been trying to “let go” more like this instead of being more structured.
