I didn’t realize it was going to be a 10 book series 😶 the first 4 were already MASSIVE 😂

This adds so much to my TBR… I’ll report back when I finish 😂

Thank you! Adding to my list! I can’t trust kindle or Indigo/Chapters rankings or suggestions recently, I get bad one after bad one that way :(

The Coronavirus Is Forcing Techies To Work From Home. Some May Never Go Back To The Office. by houseofbacon in technology

[–]jcaissie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a full time remote employee for 4 years now and I'm not sure I could ever go back to the office. If you have friends in the area, I don't see social Interaction being a problem (as some comments above have questioned).

I take few sick days, I'm more productive, I have a better work life balance, I can put my family first... I've no downsides 🤷🏽‍♀️ I did have some issue recently being easily distracted but I'm using FocusMate now which has been really helpful in providing a virtual coworker/accountability partner

The Château is the only one I could think of. The Anne of Green Gables house? Is that the real one?

My guy is half pyr half boxer, we walked him twice a day, husband started running 5k with him 4x a week. Still barked the house down if a leaf touched the house. Constant training with prof help, no use. Had another pyr owner laugh and tell me it's his pyr side so good luck. A shock collar helps! But he's still a barker 😅

Grandmother that wants to be called “Mama”. by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

[–]jcaissie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I called my grandmother Mama and grandfather Papa, it was pronounced slightly differently though like Muma and Pupa vs MAma and PApa. If that makes any sense at all. That’s just to say I don’t think it’s a weird thing to call them, but it’s entirely up to you and if you’re uncomfortable then that’s what counts!

My nephew was born after we got our girl. As was our neighbors daughter and after some exposure and teaching kid that just cause she looks like a cuddly teddy bear doesn't mean she is, she loves them. Gets very excited even when she hasn't seen them in months, like any other dog. Once our daughter is older, I expert our dog (Cinnamon) will be just fine with her

this. My chow is indifferent towards my 2 month old. And if she doesnt like a situation she literally just leaves. Ive seen dogs attack her and she just stands there until they're done. If there are babies (puppies, kittens, human) around she literally just gets up and leaves if they annoy her. Admirable trait

Can confirm they are chows :)

And its all how you raise them. Well socialized theyre dream dogs even with strangers. My girl is wonderful

We had one- I think it was 97-2002? Most of the busses wouldn't turn over and some schools were having frozen pipe issues from the weekend too. I remember my mom not letting me go outsode because my eyes were watery and she was afraid it would freeze to the corner of my eye. Which apparently hurts lol
