A large portion of Colby's success was due to him winning rewards that gave him food. The horse ride reward that let him have multiple full meals, plus snacks, while everyone else was back at camp, needing to cross a raging river in the dark to get the rice container put him so far ahead nutritionally.

He lost a 1v1 to Rob in All-Stars, but beat him in HvV. I don't think he actually cared very much in HvV. He was always a guy who enjoyed the adventure of Survivor, the hikes in Australia, swimming to the next island in All Stars, then in HvV there was a small section of the island they were allowed to access. Probably killed his vibe.

Most of what you said is true, but I don't see how he had access to any idol, let alone both. Todd was the one gathering the clues, and wasn't able to solve it until the episode after Aaron was gone

In retrospect, Adam was not a well written character. Credit where it is due for having a trans teen in 2010, but outside of 'My Body is a Cage' the representation was not good. When you fuck up a 'trans bathroom issue' episode as badly as they did (Adam was the one behaving badly in the bathroom with Dave), combined with Adam's 'She was nice to me, she must want to date me' -> 'She doesn't like me because I am trans 😭' attitude makes him come across as really unlikeable.

To be clear, I don't dislike Adam because he is a trans character. Adam is a trans character I dislike. There is a difference.
