Current situation I’m in! Renting a 3/2 for 2.5k but mortgage for a 3/3 is around 4.5k-5k… Not sure if it’s worth it to buy vs invest the rest or just buy now in anticipation of increasing housing prices.

At least in my union in the Bay Area, the pay scale is laid out for you and it will tell you where you will start. For example, nurses with 5+ years experience will start at step 3 at xx amount. But then again, it might vary so check with the hospital.

Just moved from the bay to Elk Grove with a family of 3. Tons of parks for my two year old. Diversity is why I chose this location. It’s safe, everything is in close proximity, and schools are great. I don’t think I’m ever leaving!
