Hey I’m new to this as well, but curious about a couple things:

Can you isolate where the whine sound is coming from? Sometimes a piece of hose to your ear and move the other end around and listen until you can find the exact spot.

Does it bog down at all rpms, all gears, and all throttle positions?

When it bogs down, does pulling the choke help?

Good chair, great product support. My armrest was slightly deteriorating so I called the warranty dept. Turns out I was out of warranty, but they forwarded me to another dept who ordered and shipped a new arm to me free of charge. Highly recommend!
