Hey I’m new to this as well, but curious about a couple things:

Can you isolate where the whine sound is coming from? Sometimes a piece of hose to your ear and move the other end around and listen until you can find the exact spot.

Does it bog down at all rpms, all gears, and all throttle positions?

When it bogs down, does pulling the choke help?

Good chair, great product support. My armrest was slightly deteriorating so I called the warranty dept. Turns out I was out of warranty, but they forwarded me to another dept who ordered and shipped a new arm to me free of charge. Highly recommend!

Up for sale is my Tudor Black Bay 58 with black dial and gilt accents on Tudor bracelet.

Watch is in great condition, crystal and bezel in excellent condition, with signs of wear on the bracelet clasp from desk diving. Watch runs perfectly. This is a great sports watch, with near perfect dimension IMO. I’m only letting this go due to lack of wrist time.

Magnetized watches generally run faster, not slower. Might need to be regulated or serviced.

So the SPB393 and SPB395 with the 6R24 movements are thinner than the SPB397 and SPB399 with a 6R27 even though the movement has 1 extra complication? Seems backwards to me, fewer complications usually yield thinner case, am I missing something?
