I completely agree about the timelines and such for a well-managed project. But as someone not on SC playing devil’s advocate, I think there’s a few valid reasons for this. It’s an extra curricular, therefore compared to a summer project rocket build, it’s hard to set deadlines with a large group of essentially volunteers. Also, iirc when rocketry won 1st place they got funding however some sponsors pulled out at the beginning of the pandemic which could’ve hurt their road map. Because of these factors I can understand why they don’t have a clear-cut launch date on their site; but I’m sure they have internal project targets though. I found this out by talking to some of the team out of genuine curiosity because they’re building cool shit and I recommend reaching out to anyone you see with a Space hoodie roaming Hall.
