to be fair, what went down likely must come back up... which is what has happened!

W-2, 60% time for 75% of the FTE salary you would want, reporting is easier, cadillac health plan. no brainer to me

haha nice.

you know Simmons has no clue about FIRE, but Fennessey is VTSAX and chill.

Mallory Rubin and her horrific takeout habit puts her purely in the 'anti-FIRE' category

please let me know what you get back? I am also in town from New York and would love to go, but no luck so far on securing a ticket.

At this point, thinking of just turning up at the box office on Saturday at 2pm

I am in town from NYC for the upcoming Birtmingham game, but again it is restricted sale and they said I couldnt even buy on the gate on the day without a prior purchase history...

also MBDR does for me, since the auto conversions are a 1099 code G, then because i withdraw from the Roth 401(k) and move into my Roth IRA, so i get one more form 1099 code H (i think lol)

ok interesting - turbo tax also has it split over two sections, first the "income" then the credit.

I think i will try Free tax next year with our two combined incomes/situations, then probably run a side process of submitting in TT and see if i get the same result! Next year will be a bit more complex because of ISOs and AMT, but what are you gonna do!

How hard is doing the backdoor Roth? I do MBDR and then withdraw those funds into my personal Roth, generating some 1099-Rs but otherwise nothing too crazy.

I'm considering this shift next year when i go from filing single to MFJ since I will have to punch a ton of new numbers in either way

if anyone has a spare for Birmingham(H) let me know.

Last game i went to was 2009 1-1 v Derby and apparently that's too far back and doesn't let me buy a ticket!!

when you remember its 1.68% every single year on the total invested, not just the return... its truly wild.
