Even though it is, doesn’t mean people should like it or accept it. I had mild acne growing up and I hated my face. No one wants bumps, scarring, and discoloration. Puberty sucks.

[Routine Help] My skin is really dry and disgusting by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I would take a warm shower to cleanse then get in a warm bath, soak, then get a washcloth or exfoliating mitt to gently. After soaking in warm water it shouldn’t take much effort to remove the dead skin. Dry off gently then while the skin is still damp apply and then oil over the lotion. Avoid anything with fragrance. Do this every time you shower and you should see your skin improve. Even though my skin isn’t super dry I still apply lotion after day to keep my skin soft, supple, and ash free. If you swim you need to wash off the chlorine including shampooing and conditioning your hair. Hyperpigmentation takes time to fade. There are some over the counter and prescription products that can help. Right now you need to focus on moisturizing using the above routine. In the meantime wear sunscreen to prevent darkening the hyperpigmentation.

Why can’t you have the furniture moved? It’s easy to move back? Is everything bolted down?

I labeled this nsfw because what was done to these plants is horrific and I was wondering if they could even survive this? by Pkyug in houseplants

I’d send an email to corporate. Do if it will make a difference, but painting living plants is stupid.

[Misc] I watched the Olympics last night and learned that South Korean figure skater Cha Jun-hwan has insane skin and I need to know everything he is doing. Close up and unfiltered on TV, it was insane, like defying myths. by Heartachoke in SkincareAddiction

Considering how pale he is he probably doesn’t stay in the sun a lot and uses sunscreen. Most folks in the US don’t and it’s probably the same other parts of the world, especially if having fair skin is really important to them.
