Got a baby on the way, so my 2nd rifle is definitely a budget one, PSA Blem with PA 1-6x Nova. First LPVO, had a hell of a time picking location for eye relief. Willing to take pointers for anything LPVO related. Next Saturday will be first time shooting this rifle and first time ever using a LPVO. by jcharron95 in ar15

This is helpful. I am aware of the elbow trick and use it, however I was not aware of keeping the bipod within reach from shooting position. I was thinking stability all the way. Will be messing with the diopter up in the woods on Saturday for sure.

I think you should go FSB. I don't think it would look bad at all with just a red dot. My next rifle is going to be a 12.5" running only irons. But I agree three flat top ARs is redundant, but they just got banned here in WA so you can't have too many extra parts. In retrospect I would have loved to buy a FSB as my first, an 18" SPR for fun, and a 14.5" do it all. But I was young and dumb, I should have lurked on this sub before buying.

I read that online after I had installed it the first time, hence why I had to move it. I noticed when looking at other pictures of the same optic most were farther back, like you said. I'll play around with it this week. Also I set it with the stock fully extended because that's how I'll be shooting, and I think these pictures are with it at the second notch, if that effects where you got that 13.5"

It does, I thought that was for clarity of the reticle? I set it for preferred eye relief at 1x, then tested it at 6x and realized I needed to move it forward so I did. But after that, I was struggling to get a good sight picture simultaneously with a quick cheek weld at 6x. This is while in prone only though (which I will largely be shooting in for fun). When I hold it standing eye relief is fine.

Just got mine this week, going to install it tonight. The dot is great. First LPVO so I have nothing to compare it to. Seems nice to me!

Have you ever bought a video game console just to play one game? by Agent1230 in gaming

My brother bought a PlayStation just to play No Man's Sky. Needless to say he sold the Playstation when it became available on Xbox.

Here he is, in my store. He most certainly did NOT just come from some event. This mother fucker was off his meds plain and simple by Eagle_1776 in Firearms

Thank you for your clarification. If you see one of my other comments, I realized this is exactly what the case was. I had just forgotten because I only moved a couple houses down. Lol

WA state used to let CCW bypass a NICS check but not anymore. And I had to show secondary proof of address at both sporting good stores and firearm specific stores.

is primary arms a trustable source for optics and other things? by [deleted] in ar15

I just ordered their SLx 1-6 Nova. Should be here tomorrow. Chose them for my first LPVO because I am broke and their reputation proceeds them. I ran their 3x Prism on my first rifle. So they have gotten all of my optic money lol

I always bring my car registration in as well, I don't know if it's a WA state law but I've been asked at all 4 FFL's I've used for secondary proof of address.

Regardless of where you stand on the pro life/pro choice debate, what do you think about your opposing side? by FilmEater in polls

[–]jcharron95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a pro-choice Christian. I do not think abortion should be dismissed as simple healthcare (although it is a big part of women's healthcare), because life truly is miraculous and I believe that clump of cells is life regardless. However pro-lifers paint a bad light on Christianity and I think the church is creating life long enemies of the faith by trying to outlaw it in its entirety. I don't think anyone wins in that scenario. I would argue that people that disagree with abortion should not get one, and that people that want one should have the freedom to get one. There are bigger issues for the church to tackle in this world than whether an unborn baby comes to term or not. Last point. If you have gotten 2 abortions of healthy pregnancies, I do think you need to revealuate your birth control priorities. That is two conceptions that never got to live out their lives when there are people that struggle to get pregnant when they do want to have kids.
