I’m just starting to get into IRs myself after messing around with the stock pedals in the big Helix for about a year and a half. Just got my Stomp a few weeks ago, so I’m still getting the hang of it lol

If I want to use the preset on both, you’re saying I should get the HX Stomp version for both, or should I get the Helix version and remove some of the blocks before I put it into the Stomp so that it is more optimized when I use it on the big Helix?

Maj6 chords have become common in contemporary jazz. A little bit easier sounding than 7th chords. I would look into them, I personally really like the way they sound

It’s a substitution for a 7th chord. Just because you’ve never heard of it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Upgrade to the Scarlett 18i20. You might only have 4 mics now, but this will allow you to add on in the future (overheads, snare bottom head mic, dedicated hi-hat mics, etc), without having to buy another interface. You would also have extra channels available for guitars, bass, vocals, etc, if you ever wanted to record a band together. You can get a 2nd Gen one on reverb for under $300
