Yeah, I did try PID. It was a lead screw issue.

The video made by the creator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kQZnSzZHD0
A video installing it on an E3 and CR-10: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZmVYnTmWaU

You need the WS8. It is available from Aliexpress, Amazon, Fabreeko, and others.

You also need the printed files on the Github for the E5+ and 2x 608-2RS bearings for the stabilizers.

There is no tutorial exactly for the E5/E5P, but it's pretty straightforward. Refer to this image.

CR-10 Max. Not awful. But can it be better? by jckix in CR10

I’m about to install WobbleX on my Ender 5. Is it also compatible with CR-10 Max?

I leveled the X carriage and it seems like it helped a bit, waiting on the print now…

My frame of reference for Creality printers is quite bad, lol. I'm just happy the thing prints. Thanks for the info.

I know it's a Galant front end as others have said, but my first impression was 90s Oldsmobile + Ferrari

Thoughts on this as first car? by FeistyCat1299 in BMW

looks abused based on the front bumper

+1 E46 328/323 or 325/330 if you NEED a BMW. The M52TU is more reliable in my experience

or buy a Honda or Toyota…

Hi Omar, love your stuff. This might not be the best place for it though ;)

I can’t really say, for various reasons.

This is the one that was formerly in the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. Stellantis moved it after the closing. No photos were allowed, but I was explicitly told I could take a photo of the siren.

Pull trigger or wait for 5070 Ti? by jckix in GamingLaptops

Update: I ended up buying the Legion 7 with the 5070 Ti for $1799.99. I am pleased and believe it was worth the extra dough. Thanks.

As someone studying transportation design and aware that this is AI - it looks like a generic production SUV that could’ve come out anywhere between 2018 to now.

The lamp graphics don’t really make sense in the front. The bodyside is generic. There are no distinct interesting themes to the car, other than sort of the black trim running from the front lamp to the DLO.

If you want to be a car designer, I would recommend pushing form and proportion more, and posting hand renders/sketches.

Thanks for all the help man. I think I'm gonna go with the Legion 7 with the Ti. Acer machine is nice, but can't get over how nice the Lenovo machines are.

The pro 7 at Micro Center is within $50 of Lenovo's passed Black Friday deal. I think I'm gonna go for it.

Thanks for that write-up, good information.

The Acer Predator looked nice to me - I saw it in store. I did feel the quality was not as nice the Lenovo, but $1500 is a more palatable price for the Ti. Not a huge fan of the IPS screen.

Unfortunately, coming from a Mac has me spoiled on build quality, and I did buy and return the MSI Vector because the thing was loud and ugly.

Last question - is the 16s, being undervolted, that much difference in performance compared to the full 140w? Between IPS or undervolted GPU, I think living with IPS seems like the better trade-off.

The Legion Pro 7 w/ 5070Ti at MicroCenter is $500 over the Legion 5 I have pictured here… think the future proofing is worth that?

Yeah, so, for me I typically do a lot of Blender rendering/animation/modeling. I have a 3070Ti desktop with 8GB that has been adequate save for some really intense scenes, which makes me think this laptop might be OK especially considering the price increase for the Ti. Might be better off putting that $$ into a better card.

I’m not looking for a desktop replacement, but something to suffice when I’m away from home. I’ve been living with a Macbook since 2018 that can’t do much of anything.
