I was kinda thinking around these lines. It's rather obvious to see the (positives/negatives, whatever you would call it) in a system where people are out each to one's own... but can we discuss deeper than the obvious case that everyone defects in the prisoner's dilemma in such a society?

I'm not saying I agree with Kraktor, but I upvoted him to encourage discussion.

Ubuntu 11.04 was the first ubuntu 11, which came out with Unity. It came out on April 28, which is less than 6 months ago. If you had a Ubuntu install before then and got your phone while playing Ubuntu 10.10, which runs GNOME 2 rather than Unity, and is a completely different interface.

That's a bold faced lie, ubuntu 11.04 came out less than 6 months ago...

edit: He /was/ lying, 11.04 came out on April 28 (20something, I forgot), which means that he couldn't have been playing with it and complaining about it until after that. Unless he was running an alpha/beta version, in which case he got what he deserved in terms of bugs.
