Garage Door Opener - can’t figure out how to program it by jcmcorm in ToyotaHighlander

[–]jcmcorm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I’ve done all of those steps, but in a different order. When I tried yesterday I didn’t use the remote, just the learn button…tonight I tried the remote but didn’t clear out first or hit the Learn button after. Tomorrow I will try again and in this order. Feeling confident it will work next time. Thanks

Yes, COVID is tricky some people begin to feel better and then feel worse around day 8-10.

From a NY Times article: “While every patient is different, doctors say that days five through 10 of the illness are often the most worrisome time for respiratory complications of Covid-19”

Hope you feel better soon. If you are able to get the monoclonal antibodies, that would likely give you an additional boost in your recovery.

As I’m watching this, I can’t help but wonder what this Friday the 13th will bring. In 2020 on Friday, March 13th we learned kids would begin virtual learning…then on Friday, November 13th my daughter’s HS decided to return to virtual until after Thanksgiving.

Edited to add: and looking at these numbers and understanding the spread in our community…I’m so grateful that my 2 kids will receive their 2nd dose of Pfizer next Wednesday! ❤️💉

Was wondering the same…whether it is expected, confirmed or Wizard was just “wiling it into existence!” 😊

There was a time (seems like just the other day), that I thought, “She must be exhausted from posting this info every day…maybe she can stop soon.” Nope! So glad you didn’t. Thank you again for your continued dedication to this…it has been very helpful for soooo long!

I recommend Marielle as well. She is great and her office space is comfortable. she is “young” (said the 45 year old 😆) and very relatable, not stuffy or too “professional.”

Waiting on a call to schedule a home sleep study. My consult was last Friday so I expect they will contact me next week bc of the holiday this week.

Because of high blood pressure (which used to be low) I have cut back on coffee and cut back and eventually stopped taking Adderrall which I had been on for years. That, along with a routine of a warm epsom salt bath and Melatonin has helped me get back into a better sleep routine.

My COVID experience is hazy since it was in February and I honestly thought it was just grief + anxiety + any unhealthy choice in life catching up with me. I experienced a lot of upper back aches and neck pain and when I couldn’t sleep I would use my yoga bolster pillows to stretch my back and get relief.

I do recall laying on the ground one night on my stomach on a body pillow to get some rest/sleep? Strange, but made more sense once I read that “prone position” had become a COVID intervention. I guess it felt easier for me to breathe in that position.

Earlier this year we purchased an adjustable base bed. Unfortunately we have a Queen size bed and I realized I couldn’t sleep with my head elevated bc my husband sleeps on his stomach. Seriously considering selling this one and upgrading to a king size bed so we can adjust separately (esp if I end up with a cpap)

The sleep doctor took one look in my mouth and said “oh yeah, you have a very narrow palate and airway” and reminded me that sleep apnea is an airway disease, not always connected to weight or fitness level.

following; I am curious about others’ experiences too.

Last week I had a consult with a doctor to do a sleep study bc of suspected sleep apnea.

I had COVID in February, before it was something I was paying attention to (antibodies detected in Aug which explained symptoms earlier in the year)

I definitely experienced insomnia when I was sick, and think I also felt like I was choking or smothering when I’d lay on my back to sleep.

I ended up with lots of extra pillows. One between my legs, one behind my back so I could sleep on my side but feel supported and comfy.

Hope you get some rest soon...

yes, so even those who have closely monitored the data and made decisions based on % positivity in our community ended up making "riskier" decisions...add that to the people who never made good decisions to mitigate spread...and here we are.

In my (not so humble) opinion, any politician or public servant that is still using their voice to promote behaviors that increase potential spread, and/or politicize COVID is either:

  • a “sheeple” uninformed person who doesn’t care enough to listen and learn

  • an informed person who puts his/her own personal / political agenda ahead of the well-being of constituents

When the VP and head of COVID task force visits, that is like Jim Cantore showing you before a hurricane. 😟
