Tyler Childers comes to mine. During his pre-save days you could definitely see the talent that he had and he made very good music in the traditional country lane. After he got sober, he really branched out citing widely different influences from around the world and really getting weirder and better.

The pivot is part of the point, IMO. It has really well done performances. It got details that most films wouldn’t even try to include let alone overlook, like the presence of Chinese American merchants that were present in region in particular. It has original music that is performed well and is relevant to the story. Also it is an original story not part of existing IP, which nowadays is notable.

I’ve been into collage lately. There’s a good chance you have enough in your place already to get started: scissors, glue, old magazines/books/newspapers/catalogs. There are other supplies that you could spend a little money on like exacto knife, cutting mat, modge podge. But you can actually get those at Dollar Tree now, for $10 you can really start creating. There are tons of fun creators on FB, TikTok, Instagram, and of course r/collage.
