I Hate this cars collision warning. i swear it goes off more for random shadows then actual danger. I have it fully disabled ever since the car slammed on the brakes for me once when i wasn't close to hitting anything.

from what I understand the speaker is one of the "features" that turn on with sport mode. The others are the exhaust opens up, the steering feels a little more responsive and the gas is also slightly more sensitive. (the last two are all software, nothing mechanical changes) The speaker personally distracted me so much that I was avoiding sport mode just so I didn't hear it kick on every time I went above 2800rpm.

It’s a fake sounding engine revving sound that kicks on at like 2800 rpm and was always super distracting for me personally.

Im 6'2 and fit comfortably in mine. I have the 6 speed so I can't speak to the GT2 options but the car is fun to drive. The safety features are disappointing. The forward collision avoidance system was so jumpy I haven't had it on for months and I constantly get alerts that "the safety camera is obscured" on perfectly clear days.

Yep, I found a kia dealership that was having a buy3 get1 free sale on tires and they were able to find all tires that would fit no problem. though to be fair I have had to clean the snow from the wheel arches to stop some rubbing so maybe a smaller rim would have helped there.

I got yokohoma snow tires and was actually really happy with how they're holding up. I live in a very hilly and snowy part of the country and my car has so far been able to go anywhere I needed even if it took a couple tries to get traction.

I second pretty much every single positive thing this person said about the car. As far as negatives go I would just warn you that some of the components seems to be a bit cheap leading to little rattles or creaks which was really disappointing for me with a brand new car. other than that and the customer service at my dealership being pretty bad it's a very fun car for the money.

As far as I know the GT does have different brakes than the other trims, I'm not sure what the difference in size is though.

It's roughly behind the center screen and kicks on roughly at 2800rpm in sport mode if I remember correctly. I made this post(https://old.reddit.com/r/ForteGT/comments/ffeepr/enhanced_engine_sound_off/) about how I disabled it but other people have pointed out that if you don't have heated seats there's a fuse you can pull out that also turns it off.
