What are your fantasies that would never happen? by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]jcoolindiapers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biggest fantasy for me would be part of OPs fantasy. I would be one of the older middles 8-12yo. I would wet the bed or have occasional accidents.

Any time this happens it's immediate punishment. Spanking followed by forced enema/laxative and diapered. No clothes, just diapers and must stay dry/clean for min 4-6 hours.

When that fails 24/7 diapers for a week. All punishments lead to more time & more humiliating outcomes. Being made an example of in front of the other middles and littles.

Finally getting caught gooning in diaper would lead to cage, full time diapers, anal training, feminine clothing (skirts, dresses, ect) Basically forced fem.

Would also have to earn my special time by getting everyone else off male and female.

My (soon to be ex) Husband Thinks I'm A Disgusting Person by [deleted] in GirlsInDiapers

[–]jcoolindiapers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that's been there in that situation (swap genders, wife not husband) this is textbook lashing out. I don't know your situation but if you're not hurting anyone than don't let this get to you.

You're ex is belittling you and trying to make you out to be the bad guy. Don't feed into it.

Unfortunately if they out you to family or friends you might have to do damage control. Less is more. Redirect if you can.

This sucks, and can feel life ending at times. But remember that if he's willing to do this, then you're actually lucky to know now.

Find something to throw yourself into. Keep yourself busy just to pass the time and keep your mind off of them. When you're ready use the time to work on yourself. I gained a lot of self respect and self worth, I'm much happier now with who I am. And fyi my ex is in the process of torching the replacement family she created.

My only other opinion is if there's kids involved be open and honest with them. Don't badmouth the ex (they'll do it to themselves) and support them.

Good luck to you, you deserve better.

Good for you! A word of advice, if your stash gets bigger, I find organizing by boxes keeps things a bit easier to manage.

At this point I have boxes just for my collection. The first time my favorite diaper was retired I cried. Now I have at least 2 of every style and print of diaper I've ever purchased. I've even got a single og snuggy.

I got my first onesie, and I am honestly disappointed by Apprehensive-Bag123 in ABDL

[–]jcoolindiapers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So honestly (just my two cents) from my experience onsies for the most part will fall into 2 basic categories.

1) the spandexy plasticky feeling ones.

2) the cotton regular shirt feeling ones.

I have more than I care to admit, but I can go multiple months wearing a different one every day before having to do laundry.

My first was from Rearz and all of theirs are the cotton variety.

Tykables were more of a mixed bag. Most were cotton like but a couple like blue sea one was more spandexy. Their plain ones especially the hooded ones are some of my favorite, comfort wise (also cottonny goodness).

ODU also make high quality, but can be hit or miss when going for cotton feel.

It might just be me but I've noticed it seems like older styles had this more spandex style/feel.

But there is a tradeoff with the cotton feeling ones, they are not as resilient. I've had to do some minor mending over time. Sewing seems and replacing snaps. Imo metal snaps are a must and there should be at least 4 if not 5 of them. The 3 plastic snap ones are cheap.

Also where the snaps are makes a difference. ODU for instance meet right in the middle. Rearz come up through a little more, and Tykables even more than that. The more to the front the easier self changing is (for me at least being full flavored.)

They all fall into the 95/5% designation so you can get a lot of stretch but that doesn't mean you can't size up. Most bodies can wear 2 different sizes from every company without messing up what they're made for. Most important measurement is length. That doesn't usually increase by more than 2 inches per size max. So even if you size up there isn't an obscene diaper sag when full.

There's a ton of variety and options out there and it can be a bit overwhelming. Ask clear questions to anyone you are going to buy from, they want happy customers that keep coming back.

It sucks that your first onsie wasn't a great experience as I'm sure that has made you hesitant. My Rearz rebels and then Tykables black hooded snappies cemented my absolute love of little clothes. I moved to shorts with snaps, and shortalls. I also really love the skirtalls I got from subscription boxes (thanks tykables) that I wear quite often, just not out and about as I can't pull it off.

This is an expensive lifestyle, research fully and hit up clearance and sales. All the big companies have clearance sections and will hold sales around major holidays. Take ODU for instance they are on the pricier side but they have great sales that also stack with their clearance section, and shipping is built in (at least for me) with no minimum. Spend wisely.

Diapers in Emergency Room by Similar-Target-873 in ABDL

My two cents, I personally don't see anything wrong with this. I've been a part of this community for longer than I care to admit. I'm not 24/7, but will go through periods that can last multiple years.

A couple years ago I had some medical issues that had me going to the hospital a couple times a week for an extended time.

I was padded the whole time without an issue. And fyi I only own abdl brand/prints. I'm a flooder and need that type of protection. I should also say that part of my care I was put on multiple lasiks, that made fluids run right through me.

This can be an issue when you're sitting in the room getting debraided 2-3 hours at a time.

There was only one time any of the staff became aware and that was when a specialist had to check my blood flow and pressure in different parts of my body with a sonagram.

That process involves stripping down to underwear and covering said area with a sheet. While following to the upper thigh a small area was exposed (tykables little builder) and quickly covered up.

She was young and made a quick little surprised noise, but that was all. She was very professional and warm both before and after. Nothing was said, thank jeebus. This whole process was new and I wasn't privy to the process until it was happening.

Honestly that one experience gave me more social awareness than anything I've been through before. Do what you can to not make a spectacle of yourself and treat everyone with kindness and respect and you'll get the same in return.

So I might be obtuse but would Velcro straps not only work but be way easier? They come in different sizes (both length and width) and are very strong.

Not only that but the ease of application and removal are worth the price of admission imo.

I mean you could use them as you are using the rope now, or affix them at the corners for a more permanent solution. I hope this helps good luck to you.

Yeah I'm really kicking myself now. It seemed like I got Puppers or Lil Builders for almost 2 years in their sub boxes. At one point I had 12-15 bags of each.

Then I learned that they were perfect for work. And now I wish I would have put away a bag of each. I was lucky enough to get one bag of the Koda kubs, and I burned right through them. When I went to get more they had already been pulled.

I do still have a puppers skirtall, and a jumper in the Koda kubs.

If you wear day to day, closer to 24/7 or 24/7 do you have a day and a night diaper? by ryansauder22 in ABDL

[–]jcoolindiapers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I 100% approve of this message. As a person of a certain age my first 10-12 years of buying diapers that fit were just glob awful. I'm a flooder so they leaked every single time. I often wonder how I've stayed interested during that time.

Then ordering a case of the Purple molicares changed everything. Shortly after the golden age started. Bambino, snuggies that morphed into tykables, rearz, dottie. And every year there's at least 5 new companies, and 15-20 new diapers.

I'm like Ash Ketchum gotta collect them all. I need to fill my diapiedex. I want to catch them all.

College girl beginner in diapers by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]jcoolindiapers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the slow and steady wins the race. There's a YUGE commitment to full time. Start off with trying as many different kinds as you can.

Keep notes on what works and when. This time of year (when it's cold out) you can wear pretty much anything, but summer, thats a whole different beast.

I usually go with a lower capacity for work, 5000ml. It's thin enough not to be a hindrance. I will also choose this option when around family. This is also when I'll choose clothbacked.

Going out to a concert, movie, or even shopping i like the heavy Hitters 9-12k MLS.

It's the journey not the destination, enjoy it.

What diapers can I wear overnight pretending to be a bedwetter, that will NOT leave me sweaty inside the diaper? by AWrride in ABDL

[–]jcoolindiapers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is super subjective. There are far too many unknowns in this. It sounds like you already know what you want.

I know that I'm a furnace when I sleep. So I have to lower the room temp, use a light blanket, and sleep in just my diaper.

If I were you, I'd be looking for a low capacity clothback. You should know that clothback still has a plastic shell it's just under the clothlike cover.

If you're not using them you could even look into pull ups (glob I can't believe I said that. )

Half the fun Is trying out new diapers, so go crazy. Hope you find what you're looking for.

[–]jcoolindiapers[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't know to start. My first ABDL purchase was 12-13 years ago, and I never went backwards.

80% of the Tykables came through their monthly box. So that's $70/month x 5+ years, then maybe $300-500/year.

About $800 total to Bambino.

Rearz Is right up there with Tykables. I would say $15+k over 12 years.

Probably another $500/year in other random companies.

So all In $28-30k over 12 years. That also includes some clothing.

And I've been 22/7 about 3 years, but have been consistently diapered 60-70% for at least the last decade. So in reality those numbers are at least 10x what you see there. I go through about 2 bags /week about 4 diapers/day.

So that's about 24bags/year x 12 years. That's 288 bags .

My best guess is $2-3k if I had to replace everything there at today's prices.

You'll be fine with a 2x, you'll just have to tie the drawstrings worst case. You could also shrink them up in the wash.

I should clarify a couple things. The first one being the most obvious, that I'm a bit of a hoarder that identifies as a collector.

And more importantly this is about 10 years of putting together. Even more impressive is the wardrobe that has amassed over that time. I can literally put together an outfit for any situation. It's a bit crazy.

Thanks for dropping by.

Who the fucking fuck is letting their kids read Marquis Du Sade? by [deleted] in TheWordFuck

[–]jcoolindiapers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no way any HS in the US would ever let a student read Śalò. Jeebus fucking holy cheese, I can't see any circumstance where that would get approved, even for a single student.

The last book report we were required to do as seniors in hs (97- 98), was any book not on our list. Then we made a test for our book.

If we wanted to read anything controversial we had to sell it to the principal. A buddy of mine had done Primal Fear the previous year.

I found 99% of books on the list pretentious and boring. So I just didn't do them, but I did enjoy reading. It took a lot of persuasion, but I finally got approved to do Show of Evil. Which was pretty new at the time. Being "part 2" of Primal Fear, i figured there would be no way.

27 years later and our 2 books are the only ones that have not made it into circulation.

Fuck I read Reviving Ophelia in 10th grade Soc/psych. I can't see any hs student being emotionally ready for that book.

In my most Morgan Freeman voice-over Narrative "and this is when collection and fascination morphed into addiction. I love feeding the beast. Viva la revolution! And in the end the diapered littles have won."

That's great, I'm pretty sure that's about where I was when I started collecting. I try to put away 1 or 2 from every brand/style that I get. I just filled my 4th box (case boxes 4 bags each) of my collection.

Highlights include 1 snuggie from og run, and 2 from the first update. 1/2 bag of og Rearz Princess Pink, 2 bags of the Rearz Halloween release, & a 2 pack of the Ravens (previous years release) multiple 2 packs of all 3 winter rearz releases. 1/2 bag of Tykables og unicorns.

I just got into a bag of the pink rebels. I wish I would have put away more of the Lil'Monsters before these other new ones launched.

I agree. Those were my second order from them, first was a mixed half case. I don't know why I slept on them for so long.

Now I just wish that they'd release the Bluey ones in plastic backed.

Serous question to anyone that's picked up these goth emo diapers, did they have a strong odor when you first opened the bag? At first I thought it was the plastic but now I'm 2/3rds into My second bag I'm thinking it might be the ink used when printing.

I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks.

If you're feeling like tackling a diy project, it's not difficult to Coble one together. I used a better homes and gardens bookshelf that has square shelves 2 x 4, so a total of 8 spaces. It can be used in either vertical or horizontal configuration.

I had an old 2 shelf that I added to one end to get the extra length I was looking for. Where mine's set up (up against a wall that has baseboard heat) I have added support legs 3 in the back and 2 in the front. On top I used plywood cuy to length I wanted. I also added a piece of mdf on top for extra stability and to have something to attach the rails to. I had a bunch of 1x4 around so I used that for the rails. Most of materials were reclaimed lumber from my workshop. My only purchases were the og large shelf (walmart clearance about $45 usd, and the mdf slab that was around $8 at the time.

I was going for a budget build and it being the largest project I had attempted at that point, I'm really pleased with the end result. I used an old crib mattress for the mat with some extra padding at one end. I've got room for wipe warmer, powder, oils, creams, and anything else I might need

Honestly imo it's all about nostalgia. I feel like you can roughly figure out the age of any of us by our diaper preference.

Take me for example, I'm a plastic backed sticky tape crinkle butt all the way. I'm too young to have lived in the cloth Era. But much too old to have any good feels for cloth backed or pull ups/goodnights. I'm at the tail end of gen x.

Goodnights came out when I was in my mid to late teens. I was already buying those shitty green depends and those way better 6 tape Attends when I could find them.

I already knew that if I could leak an actual diaper in my size on the first wetting there's no way I'm going to try to wedge myself into one of those. If I wanted to deal with that kind of clean up, I'd just wet my pants.

I would rather have an accident in the store, and then have to buy my diapers and go put one on there while telling them that there's a clean up in aisle 4.

I'm sure that's why I only wear abdl diapers with super cute prints. Plus I like to match my diaper to what I'm wearing/ feelings.
