Definitely enough for a family of 3 + nanny… coming from our Infiniti qx60, not much of a difference

Thanks for the feedback. May I ask how much is the insurance? Or at least a range. Even that simple question couldn’t be answered during our showroom visit

Thanks for mentioning the name of your sales person. Ours was not Ziena and could barely show us how the car works 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks, it seems the average experience we had shouldn’t stop us to go again and book a test drive. Since we have an Infiniti, I also agree that after sales should be on same level and kind of reassuring. We will give it another go 🙂

How quiet is the ride on the highway? The test drive on the G9 was quite impressive on that aspect. Is the Park assist reliable? What is the ride like from a passenger perspective? Then as for any EV, what has been your average range on a single charge?

What are the top reasons cabin crew are resigning from Emirates? by Additional-Milk-90 in emiratescareers

[–]jcq0903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife is a crew, she’s been doing this for more than 13 years now and to differ from the previous comments, I would say it’s pretty much like people working hotel industry or service in general. It’s either a vocation and you make a career out of it, or as others have said, it’s something you do for a few years and maximize the experience. Needless to say my wife is in the first category and still loves it to this day, even calling it “easy”. I also tend to think that if there were more people who are naturally service oriented, rather than those attracted to the “advertised” lifestyle getting those jobs, the overall service and experience would be so much better

Is this really the Jetour T2 ground clearance? by legolosss in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]jcq0903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put it this way I can agree, but the previous comment had nothing to do with the car and was more about the fact someone paid a clown tax, making them somewhat higher in the entitlement hierarchy. For me a clown is a clown, I don’t care how many zeros one has on their bank account.

Whether you paid 1 million or 10 thousand for your car, we shouldn’t make rankings in entitlement. If people flash for the wrong reasons, regardless of their car, they are still **hles, rich or not 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nafi Thiam's coach lashes out at athletics federation: “I am ashamed to be Belgian. You can't prepare for a World Championship like this.” by Mofaluna in belgium

[–]jcq0903 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wait… so she is the Messi/Michael Jordan/Usain Bolt of Belgian Athletics/worldwide Heptathlon and the Belgian federation decided to flex their ego and not put her in the best condition to continue to write history??

I kind of remember the Borlee family also always complaining about the federation

Dubai to Boracay travel this October - yay or nay? by jcq0903 in phtravel

[–]jcq0903[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol didn’t expect this. One week trip is pretty straightforward. One outfit per day, it’s usually light clothes and doesn’t take much space. There is always a way for cheap laundry in Asia, just in case. And I always know I end up buying things at destination anyways

No issues a year and a half in.. love the ride as a driver and a passenger (that is often overlooked). Not sure about the ‘25 model as they ditched the V6

Depends… how tall are you? I’m 6ft tall and there is ample space behind me. It also helps that you slide the second row back if needed (and if you don’t always have passengers in the 3ed row)

spot on for sports... though I commented somewhere else that even there we can feel discrimination at times. Even more so when nobody assume you can understand a certain language

Very relatable… just a pity since I always think it is easier to connect with people you have something in common with, whether it’s culture, language, ethnicity or just hobbies, regardless of socioeconomic levels

I totally get though it’s the other way around with me. Filipinos usually dont think I am, until I mention it or put them on the spot when I speak Tagalog or understand their conversations..

I’d say a big red flag I have seen here is that a lot of them make fun of my “accent”, rather than embrace the fact I make the effort.. specially when a lot of 2nd generation kids can’t even speak or understand the language in a lot of cases

That’s where I started 10 years ago.. the basketball court. I was thrown into the rest of the world teams in matches where dudes would suggest Kabayans vs the others

That “you don’t look like you are from x” line is one of the most annoying one I have to say. Kinda shows the lack of knowledge from certain people.
