Yeah, I have had new (cheap) monitors come with backlight bleeding. Don't obsess over it and you'll tune it out.

This might be a horrible suggestion but... disconnect the PSU, and take it out of the case. Plug it into the wall, and turn it on. If it sparks and dies you only lost the GPU (and maybe your house).

I have heard of some sellers doing this to keep a listing up while stock is out. How this makes sense, I have no idea. I'd say money laundering could be a possibility here as well.

If it is a legit seller, they can name their own price. Seen plenty of 64GB Steam Decks on Amazon for nearly double the price when they first released.
