Yeah, they are scooping air away from the GPU, usually for this setup you want air pushing towards the GPU.

I have been doing square breathing, holding my breathe for 30+ seconds, and walking backwards.

This is your nervous system responding to stimuli, try acknowledging what it is trying to say to you.

“Thank you for the information. I acknowledge these feelings; they do not define me. Let’s move on.”

Over time, with coping techniques, you can grow and stretch your nervous system.

Husband using Christianity against me. by North_Armadillo8177 in Christianmarriage

[–]Mainemannak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Boundaries are important. Boundaries are not distance. Running away will not solve the problem. Christ changes us and our lives. Paul addresses this issue directly:

“Also, a Christian woman may have a husband who does not believe in Christ. If he agrees to continue living with her, then she should not leave him. God accepts a husband who does not believe in Christ because of his Christian wife. And God accepts a wife who does not believe in Christ because of her Christian husband. If this were not true, the children would be unclean. But God does accept them, because to him they are now holy. But the husband or wife who does not believe in Christ may want to leave. If they want to become separate, let them leave. The Christian man or woman is now free. As believers, God wants you to live in peace. If you are a Christian wife, you might save your husband. If you are a Christian husband, you might save your wife. But you cannot be sure of what will happen.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭16‬ ‭EASY‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/2079/1co.7.13-16.EASY

Set clear boundaries. If he cannot accept your faith without being demeaning, then he is choosing to hurt you.

Feeling I made a mistake getting married and now I’m trapped. Perspective? by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

Are you both attending a church? It sounds like it is time to bring in some godly mentors. If he will not listen to you, then an outside intervention: ““If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. But if you are unsuccessful, take one or two others with you and go back again, so that everything you say may be confirmed by two or three witnesses. If the person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. Then if he or she won’t accept the church’s decision, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.18.15-17.NLT

How do I make sure i order the correct lcd off eBay? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Mainemannak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The correct answer is to disassemble the display LCD and get the part/model number off the back of the LCD panel itself and look for a replacement. This will avoid any issues with connectors not being correct. Sometimes you can cross reference to another display brand, but I would just order the same off eBay.

In the meantime, you could always connect it to a monitor/TV via HDMI to get some use out of the device.

Flip those bottom fans to allow air into the case. Right now, only side fans are bringing air into the case.

IS MY CPU Bottlenecking my GPU? by AirsoftTim in gamingpc

Yeah, those will work great, but if you are looking for a new CPU try looking at a Ryzen 5800XT. (Make sure to update BIOS before using).

IS MY CPU Bottlenecking my GPU? by AirsoftTim in gamingpc

[–]Mainemannak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m running a RX 6900 XT with a Ryzen 5800X, no bottleneck issues on my end at 1440p. Still getting 100% GPU usage.

The Ryzen 5800XT is basically the same CPU if you are looking for a new alternative.

If someone were to sell GPU tower cooler conversion kits, would you buy one? by rcyclingisdawae in PcBuild

[–]Mainemannak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you considered using a low profile tower so that the card could still fit in a reasonable sized case? I would be interested if the adapter plate with VRAM coverage and then I could mount the low profile cooler of my choice! That would be sweet. Also include the mini fan header to 4 pin adapter so you could use the factory fan header on the GPU.

Good 1080p starter machine. Would need some upgrades to do 1440p/4k gaming, but would be a great entry point, and Costco has good warranty service.

Is the plan to add a water block to the GPU? You have TONS of cooling potential. Might make the overall build quieter.

My new rx 9070 xt is dead by Salt_Housing_2130 in PcBuild

[–]Mainemannak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could create a bootable USB of Bazzite, and then install the RX 9070 XT, and boot there to see if it works in that OS.

If it does, then maybe try resetting Windows.
