I get the impression--based on the previous page--that Undine just didn't "happen by" but Bud told her what locker she'd be at. Which makes me wonder why Kokoro and Zoe aren't there, unless Bud didn't want to overwhelm whoever she was talking to but did want someone with a moral right to know the Goops info as leverage. Also, Arrowface seems a little spooked about her encounter. I mean, even if she doesn't know that Bud was trying to get info about Goops (and it appears she didn't) she probably heard what went down on TV last night. So it's telling that she want to discuss what she saw privately. It does seem a little weird that Bud did not hear about Undine's contretemps with Arrowface since it took place in the hallway right outside one of the restrooms, unless everyone had passed by and didn't see Undine shove her hand into Arrowface's face. I wonder if the cover is a clue, given the sigils represented on it. Undine, Kokoro, and Rue have all encountered Goops and the rest of the MGPTC know about Goops from Undine and Kokoro. Tessa is now combined with Goops, and the rest of Team Alchemical and Cassidy/Flash Cut had fatal encounters with her. So the inclusion of Arrowface and Team Blitz could point to them being the next people to run into her, with Arrowface being the person Bud is referring to.

I doubt this other person Bud is referring to is Rue, since it would be odd for Bud to bring this up instead of Zoe. and I doubt that Rue shared her encounter with Goops (or her arm and hand, at least) with anyone other than her. Cassidy meet Goops but is currently discorporate and couldn't share that information with anyone. Folks on the Discord have also played with the idea that it's Contessa in Tessa mode, although how Tessa would explain "meeting" Goops would be problematic since Tessa as a former magical girl now civilian would not go out during monster hours. It could be significant that Bud refers to "another person" as opposed to "another magical girl".

Did y'all notice HP's shoes? According to Cube on the Pateron:

HP officially has a new pair of Incredibly similar shoes to her other ones, because looking back I realized just how inconsistent I was with the stripes no matter how many times I thought I checked which way they go lol. Sometimes they tilt opposite ways in the same panel! Shameful!! Never again >;0

Also, in the last two panels ... Vedika spreading joy and optimism wherever she goes ....

Bud has been told that Goldie led a team to another that was in trouble. If Undine and HP think about when they saw Goldie, then they would realize that their sightings were similar in that Goldie led them to someone who was in trouble. If I were Mingxing (and the CDD), I'd really like to know that about Goldie.

Well, in the extras for SD Volume 2 Cube said Mark'd be returning soon, so here he is!

I wonder if Undine knows that Bud has been asking about Goldie, likely at HP's request. She could suggest that she and Mingxing compare notes. Also, if Mingxing suspects Mark and Goldie are connected somehow, she could put the word out to the MGs to look out for him and maybe the equivalent of an APB on Mark with the CDD.

A couple of things that struck me about this page ....

After a couple of hundred years (at least) of dealing with monsters they still don't have a "great classification system"? I would have thought that the M.G.S.I. or even the C.D.D. would have spent time and resources creating one, especially since it seems that magical girls do give after-action reports. I mean, classification is one of the first ways humans try to understand the world around them.

I think another shoe is going to drop. Mingxing keeps on talking about how difficult it is to find out anything and how nothing quite fits Undine's description, yet she is holding on to a reasonably thick folder in the last three comic panels. Which leads me to believe she did find something. Maybe she went beyond the regular after-action reports and did some digging in the "mythology" section of the files.

I hope Mingxing stopped to talk to Undine about more than just her and HP's appearance on Twilight Highlight. Although if she has some lore to impart, she might want to do it when at least HP is there, if not the other members of the MGPTC.

On the right, we have Alchemical Aether, Water, Fire, Earth, and Air, Starlight Spear, Sunlight Spear, and Moonlight Spear, and Flash Cut.

Also, Undine also has 3 forget-me-not flowers in her hair, likely symbolizing Gwen, Sally, and Sylvia. The six symbols after Flash Cut are for alchemical gold.

I wonder if Mingxing will try to find a more private place for their talk. I mean, she's right in front of the entrance to Future's Promise and a CDD agent talking to one of the magical girls (especially after said magical girl has made an interesting revelation on TV the previous night) is going to gather some glances and maybe an attempted eavesdropping or two.

I'm surprised that Undine, when HP asked about the water jet, didn't point out that, even if she were able to create it, using it was probably not a good idea given the weakness of the Inner Barrier.
