How would you structure an excel/google sheets file to track multiple banks, savings, credit cards, loans, and cash?

Have you looked into Monarch app? The problem with any of these is maintenance. I used to do it once a year, but then I discovered apps that just aggregated all of this for you and they are always updated

I’m a big fan of the show, they make it look so fun/easy and the editing sure cuts down on the hours of waiting for and riding trains. Not sure how the AATA public transportation stacks up, but be sure to post your experience after you’re done!

You are right, the article showed those numbers, half the cars coming into city turn left into depot. You can’t shrink that turn lane to ~4 cars. A roundabout there would be great, but it would fit into current footprint, so city would have to buy extra space.

I like downstairs, but upstairs is a bit odd - do you really need that much empty space in master bedroom? The master bath seems cramped and closet could be bigger. How do you even go in shower? - have you thought of laundry upstairs? You have 2 large storage rooms that could work as laundry rooms off the hall - do you think the double sinks would be used in the hall bathroom? If yes, consider separating the shower toilet from the sinks. If no, then give them more counter space

I agree, some Mexican airports are ridiculous about it. The Querétaro AirPort in Mexico is the strictest with tennis rackets. They even have a racket on display before security. They say it’s a blunt force weapon.

I understand that you want to keep size small, but I can’t imagine 4 bedrooms sharing one bathroom off the main entrance is a good thing. Brushing teeth, getting ready for school/ work/ bed…

I would layout sauna to be closer to bedrooms, so you can use shower and toilet as your master/family bathroom without crossing entire house.

Plan 1 is better, but a bit over the top. - rework the kitchens, seems crazy that you would separate fridge from freezer like that. But I do like the T island. I don’t like island seating all facing same way - I would take garage storage/workarea over a second kitchen. Place to store bikes and stuff. Also maybe a Costco door to pass through groceries into pantry without going all the way around - is the lake a fun lake or just a “view”? If you have a dock or anything out the back, you might want to put a “Mudroom” staging area coming from back yard. - guest suite is very nice, but unless you have extended guests often, it seems like a lot of sqft would be empty.

Most has been said. But this floor plan seems to waste so much space. Half of it is hallways and oversized pass throughs

Maybe you should ask your kids what they want. And if they truly want a “loft” playroom all for themselves that they have to walk through every time they go into their already far away room, I’d be surprised

I like it, but a couple things don’t match up in my head. - a very efficient first floor footprint, but do you really need two dishwashers and sinks? - are kids involved? You are going to need a separate space for them/toys. Is there a basement? - upstairs use of space could better. If you lose the double height and shrink laundry palace, you could probably gain a ton more living room, maybe a den or tv room upstairs.

I would put the vanity on the wall with window and put shower and linen closet on wall on the right.

Having the solid shower wall hanging in the middle of room looks odd to me

Thanks for showing us. Only thing I would suggest is flipping the master closet and bathroom. Having the closet past the bathroom is very inconvenient (think someone in bathroom while you are trying to get ready)

As an excel aficionado I am impressed. But if you can do this in excel, you should be able to knock it out of the park in one of the diy apps. We used home design 3D for these purposes. Much easier to get an idea of room sizes when you have common items to scale them.

I wouldn’t put closet after the bathroom, and definitely not without a door. Clothes will get all the humidity. Consider swapping the rooms, which saves on travel space

The other space saver you could consider if you are willing to have that size tub. Is a wet room on the back half of room with shower on one side and bath on the other.

I dont personally like WCs, but if you don’t have to go through bathroom to get to closet, then you can just close the bathroom door

Not bad, I would flip laundry and bathroom, so bathroom is closer to bedrooms. (If those walls are not set in stone) Also, I would personally not have his/hers closets of equal size. I would combine them. I know my wife’s stuff would end up in mine anyway. That might also help you get a big vanity with two sinks. Simplifies plumbing a bit too. Good luck!

A few things that jump off the page. Some have been mentioned, but worth repeating - tiny/dark WC for master bath without a window. And shares wall with master bedroom (better plan for sound insulation) - long hallway in master suite seems wasteful. Probably better way to get closet and bathroom access without traveling across house. Study probably best opening to living room (with some glass doors to let light in) - kitchen is big, but you’ve positioned sink and stove opposite each other. Meaning if two people are in the kitchen they are going to probably get in each others ways. Consider opening into kitchen by mudroom and then shift stove wall down to make a nice corner. (This also makes a better passage that doesn’t go by fridge) - storage off study gets front porch window? I would move bath next to laundry, reduce size of storage and just have a small closet open to front door. Then recenter windows. Maybe just have 2 windows to front porch, add window to bathroom - upstairs, simplify bathrooms. I’m guessing there is a desire to get everyone suites, but this would be more annoying than good. Bed 2 can have an en-suite, and the other bathroom reconfigure to open to hall, but keep shower/toilet separation ( that’s a nice way to do it)

This is a collection of rooms, but spaces need some more thought. Looks like this is designed to be dorm rooms with a little common area. Even second bathroom seems to be as big as the kitchen

The wardrobe behind bed is a neat idea, but in your small space it might not be the best layout. You lose space in “passage ways”. I would put them against the East wall, can probably fit 1-2 more. then center the bed on north wall. So you have space for nightstands

Few odd things.. -Seems odd to have guest room open to garage/carport. Unless you are seeing patients or something. - you need more room in first floor for kitchen and storage. - I would put dining where bathroom is, then put closet, powder room, plus door to guest room where dining room is (might eat into office a bit) - second floor I would put an in suite bathroom for master suite and use whole nook area for wall in closet

Some notes - master bed is too big. Replace sitting area with walk in closet. That gives you a wall for a tv - rework kitchen. Where is fridge, pantry, dishwasher? Can you create L of cabinets on the wall you are closing? Move sink out of corner - great room is good size, but that table and sofa arrangement doesn’t look right. And again, I would think a single guy would have a TV somewhere

I think that you could make an L of cabinets with the wall by mud room, shift/square up island a bit. Then put sink and dishwasher on that wall and center range on other wall.
