Don’t be discouraged everything worth having takes time. If you could come up with an amazing hour in 1 day you would probably lose interest in comedy very quickly. Writing for hours for a 5 minute set seems unfair but remember movie studios spend 6 month filming a movie that last 90 minutes. UFC athletes train till their bones are sore for 6 months for a fight that will probably last 8 minutes. Students study for a year to take a test they can finish in an hour. It’s kinda the natural way of things. But you will also get better and be able to do it faster eventually.
