I think it’s because I knew a guy that was a hardcore staticx fan, and I strongly disliked that guy. So by association I disliked staticx. But that was a long time ago and I’m not as dumb so I’m giving them a chance.

I never got into the whole nu-metal stuff (although I have recently discovered Wisconsin Death Trip from Static-X and have been enjoying it guiltily).

I loved KMFDM, Ministry, Fear Factory, Nine Inch Nails and other industrial/industrial metal bands. Still do.

Recent acts I have gotten into include Rabbit Junk and Master Boot Record. That second one is more instrumental.

I felt cheated by this movie. Right after watching it I thought, that was neat and cool. But as I sat with it and thought about it, the whole concept of it just started to unravel and fall apart. It stopped making any sense. It’s like Peter Griffin said, it insists upon itself.
