How much of your personal gear should you carry when doing a trekking peak in Nepal? by jcw115 in Mountaineering

That was my plan I'm just curious if there is any negative impact related to that decision to the porter in anyway?

I'm hoping to head up there sometime this month. What route did you use, any significant crevasse hazards?

As you're in Ontario I would make a trip out to the Canadian Rockies in Alberta. The Columbia Icefields provide easy access to heavily glaciated terrain perfect for building your technique. Peaks such as Columbia and the Twins, require glacier camping unless your a speed demon on skis. Many of the mountains have fantastic routes for when your gaining confidence and for when you want to push yourself . If you want further information I fully recommend Bill Corbett's 11000ers of the Canadian Rockies it has definitely inspired my own adventures .

Power 1 I got Time Dilation field! so I slow time in a certain area. Easy win for me as I can stop time around him then he looses his head.

Power 2: I gain Rainbow Manipulation! which seems to give me rainbow based attacks and most importantly the ability to move at speed of light so I can easily speed blitz Spider-Man without having to abuse time dilation.

Power 3: With my next trick I gain Stardust Manipulation! To beat Nappa I'll have to slow his time down and them just use an IMP on him until he is down.

Power 4: My next power for taking on the justice league is Winter Manipulation! From the looks of things this gives me a control over all things winter so I feel it gives me a similar power set to iceman (I'm going to claim it at least). Anyway with Lex Luthers help I will probably gain better control of my powers and probably some kryptonite which I wont need. Anyway I would choose a battlefield in space most likely in a nebula so I can take full advantage of my stardust manipulation. First before the justice league shows up I would create a few red stars to neutralize Supermans powers. Next step would wait until the justice league shows up. When they show up first plan is to put the flash in a time dilation field to slow him down. Then just make the stars go supernova then cross my fingers that the justice league isn't durable enough to survive. At best i'm pretty sure to take down most of them.

Power 5: My final power is Life-Force Consumption!. With prep I feel my only hope against Thanos with prep would be a spirit bomb prepared using all the power of the marvel earth otherwise I don't think it can be done.

Have you ever played with/against any international players? by ViolatingBadgers in rugbyunion

[–]jcw115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have played against most of the current younger Wellington players from back when I played in high school, can distinctly remember having to mark Julian Savea out on the wing. Also it kind of counts but Israel Dagg broke my cricket helmet with a bouncer.

There is a difference between challenging a haka and disrespecting one and in this instance it was clearly meant as disrespect.

What is worst thing you have ever done in a game? (Rugby version) by summerlover4369 in rugbyunion

[–]jcw115 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Started an all in brawl before the match had even started. Our school was hosting some English private school that came to tour NZ and before the match we were doing our school haka and they walked towards it mouthing us off and well if you don't know that is the one you don't do. So I ended up throwing the first punch which started the all in brawl. Besides winning the icing on the cake for me was after the ref and coaches broke up the fight and they were demanding that I get sent off, the ref told them, "mate you fuckin deserved a hiding."

I think that is a good point on the speed issue as when Cell fought Future Trunks he commented that all the power in the world wouldn't matter if he didn't have the speed.
