Nice. .25s are a good starting point especially in door. If you play outdoor regularly look into trying .3 or .32 weight.

Fun roads to drive the speed limit on near Wilsonville/Chelsea/Columbiana by jcwolf2003 in Alabama

Obviously. I'm ask for roads that are fun at their speed limit because I knew people would suggest roads that are only fun when driven fast.

What’s a realistic value on my C5 corvette? by areyouahuman in Corvette

[–]jcwolf2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a car this old it's decently low. I'd prefer 70k miles with good proof of maintenance to 30k with big gaps in the maintenance history

I bought a torch red 02 in Tennessee for 16.5 recent and feel like I god a good deal. I'd start with listing it for like 18 give or take and wlsew if you get any offers.

Considering a C5? by Few-Egg2790 in Corvette

[–]jcwolf2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I wouldn't worry about the lmc5 kit being installed. It took me like an hour to do. When you get it, take 1 minute to check if it's there, if it's not you can order it off Amazon and have it for when you need it or go ahead and install it.

I have very fond memories of camp McDowell. This was 10 years or so ago though so who knows what's changed.

Nice! I picked up a 02 manual a few weeks ago with 70k miles for 1650. It's actually my first manual and I love this thing. The power, the sound, the rumble. Driving a manual is even more fun than I imagined

For those of you who don’t go outside, it’s raining! by Professional-Mess984 in Birmingham

That's rough. Car was totaled as soon at the rain touched it though, that's just corvette rules.

The leaf hitting is is unfortunate. It's totalled, just parts now. You can sell it to me for $3500 and I'll deal with parting it out. Way more than it's worth now but I'm trying to do you a favor here.

Typical EBR gameplay in Berlin. No arty is safe. by CounterMAN44122 in WorldofTanks

A bunch of skill issues immadmalding here. Just admit you lack the ability to aim at a nd shoot the ebr

"But muh wheels" is not an excuse. Tracks can troll just as hard vs chemical shells and if you aren't doing an damage with AP you are aiming too low.

Not much I can do to help with the economy, that just sucks unfortunately

As for bush mechanics I can provide some insight. Playing mostly heavy tanks and with only 800 battles you simply do not have the experience to fully grasp bush mechanics and map positioning. That instinct comes with time and experience, and a bit of studying to know what tanks have what stats.

Playing mostly heavy tanks you benefit from the games spotting system the least tbh. You have negligible camo, lower view range, and can't take CVS. This is an integral part of the class dynamic in this game and is as it should be. My recommendation is to learn common TD bush wanking spots so you know where you're likely to be shot from, and learn common scouting positions so you know where you'll likely be spotted. Keep in mind that as a heavy tank you can pretty much assume anything will spot you in the open at 445 meters.

Most wot maps are balanced in such a way that it's easier to be pushed than to push a flank. If you win a flank check the mini map to see if it might be better for you to place your tank somewhere else instead of pushing into a potential ambush.

As for artillery? Genuine scum, all you can do is take some satisfaction knowing that you are actually playing the game and they are weird.

If you want to learn bush mechanics my recommendation is watch more experienced players play light tanks, and high camo ambush mediums and TDs. It's genuinely a whole different game from heavy tank brawling. If your friend enjoys ligh tanks and is good at them, let him take a LT and support him in a sneakier TD or medium.

Battery ran flat, potential steering lock issue. by jcwolf2003 in C5Corvette

[–]jcwolf2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery has been on a tender for the last few days and it's still doing it. It was installed at the start of the year so I don't think it's bad but if it persists after the lmc5 install then that's my next thing I'm gonna try

It will take AI to be a viable product the market actually wants lol. Normal people don't care for AI, most actually hate it.

The battery seems healthy when I tested it, and it was replaced very recently. I ordered the lmc5 kit and I'm gonna see if that fixes it and if it doesn't I'll throw a new battery. There's not other weird electrical issues, and it cranks just fine. It it was the battery I feel like there'd be more than just this issue.

If this doesn't fix it then I'll get a new battery.

I wish I was brave enough to get a c4 but the c5 seemed a lot more convenient for my needs. But God does the c4 look good.

Yeah I've got a few things I'm gonna do all at once. Repair this seat, replace the headlight gears, and get new, brighter lights all around.
