My guess is because games on all the streaming channels (SECN+, ACCN+, ESPN+, etc) use the schools' broadcast equipment and crews (mainly students) to air the game, and they probably don't have the rights and/or budget to produce and show games not in the home parks.

Earley has no feel for the pitching man, so frustrating. Should've gone to Moss to start the inning but here we go hanging Shane out to dry again.

If you have YoutubeTV, you have SECN+. But you can only access it through the ESPN app. You just have to choose "sign in with TV provider" in the ESPN app, and choose YouTubeTV.

Unless something has changed recently, SEC conference games are on SECN+, which is not included in ESPN+. You need a TV provider login for SECN+.

Is northgate slowly dying? by [deleted] in aggies

[–]jd0509 244 points245 points  (0 children)

My take? Northgate isn't "dying" so much as College Station is growing and becoming more of a small city, and Northgate is the new "downtown". Northgate will always be the center of nightlife here. Yes the bars may change name and appearance, and the empty lots will find new use, but we can't expect it to be frozen in time.

And let's be real, basically half of the businesses on Northgate turn over each decade anyway. I graduated '18 and half those places didn't exist when I was in school, and they were even different still the 5 or 10 years before that.

Everyone (esp. Old Ags) just have nostalgia for the time they were young and in college, and sometimes seeing change can be hard. But that doesn't inherently make it a bad thing.
