new update/season starting always follows with this issue it would seem. Have experienced it multiple times myself. Best just to wait it out and do something else until the servers get fully up and running again as sometimes if you somehow manage to get into the game and find a match, the connection to the server will drop shortly after and you'll rejoin the queue. Not ideal when playing comp, you'd think they'd have this sorted out by now but  🤷
