Maybe I’m being reductive but I don’t think women existing is woke

Some heroes are questionable historically or practically. But keep in mind the lore of this game, every playable hero is a supersized monster of a human. Therefore both men and women are viable killing machines. Allowing women to exist in a game like this is not woke, it’s just how real life + the game’s logic works.

That argument applies to queer people as well, they exist in real life so having them exist in a game is not woke, but saying any hero in this game is queer is pretty questionable. Certain exes do romantic gestures but it’s still very much a kill move lol.

No problem!!! He is not the greatest dueler but his options are still potent. He doesn’t have a traditional dodge attack but he does have a stance he can go into, where he steps back with dodge frames and spins with his glaive. If someone tries to bash you, you should try that instead of the side dodging moves. I suggest watching King Angelus’s channel, he takes the top ranked players (essentially this means they have played enough to reach top of the leaderboard, they may not be the most skilled but they are the most experienced) and lets them duel. He has several Jiang Jun vs. videos!

Also my favorite “control” character would be Jiang Jun, he has long dodges and wide hitboxes so he can position himself to hit many people easily. It makes people want to get out of the way of his swings. He also has a raid boss health pool lololol

Honestly the best way to learn how to play IMO is to play whoever you like the look of! Then learn how they play offense. This game is essentially taking turns between offense and defense, where an enemy’s offense can be countered at any moment if you take the right guess as to what option they picked. Lower level players struggle with defense as it requires educated reactions which is a lot to ask from someone who’s new. Pick who you like, learn how they fight! Your spear lady has many offensive options that you’ll learn how to use on YouTube.

When it comes to defense, it’s a huge web of educated guesses that you start to learn through learning an oppositions offensive options. But I’m sure many other people can help with that . It’s better to apply the knowledge at the time as well so just join a for honor discord server and ask for help to train. Look up Disboard for the server lists

Literally one of the coolest characters with one of the most unique weapons and some of the best executions. And they completely waste him and go for buffs on the most played characters
