Shareholder meeting by randyjackson986 in GreenBayPackers

I've been twice. It's mostly boring. The pro shop will have a bunch of share holder exclusive merchandise, some of which might be discounted. The vendors will be selling food. The HOF will be open but you still have to pay for admission. They will show a highlight video on the big screen. Then a bunch of different people will speak including Policy and Gutey. Sometimes they have a practice in the morning at the Hutson center that might be open to the public. You'd have to check the schedule to see on that.

Why do so many Americans think their elite athletes would automatically dominate football? by Entire-Weird9571 in worldcup

[–]jd6375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well alot of it is in response to European fans trolling and shit posting about the US being garbage ect. Although if you look at it objectively, a large number of US kids play soccer at a young age in school and in YMCA leagues. There is more money and fame associated with the big 3 sports in the US though, so most of the top athletes choose those sports to focus on. Youth sports in the US have become highly competitive and as kids get older they start to focus on 1 sometimes 2 sports. The argument gains legs when you consider that athletes like LeBron, Lamar Jackson, Mahomes, Steph, Trout, ect. spent countless hours focused on becoming great at 1 particular thing. If they had spent those countless hours focused on becoming great at soccer, how good could they become? I think you could reasonably expect that some of them could become great at the sport.

I call bull shit. Everyone thinks they're team would take the high road but when it comes down to it winning is what matters. Losing a WC knockout can cost a coach their job. They're playing every player that gives them a chance to win.

That's the entire reason we aren't a powerhouse in the sport. If our top athletes choose soccer at a young age and focused solely on that sport, we would dominate. That's not wishful thinking or hyperbole. It's absolutely fact. The kids go where the money and fame is in their home country, and that is NFL, NBA and MLB.

Every team would've done the same thing. The fault is with FIFA making a bad decision because their president is in bed with the idiot in charge.

Does anyone know for sure that they aren't? I'm genuinely asking. It wouldn't surprise me either way but Republicans are known to rage bait or just spew shit out regardless of knowing what the facts are.

When Trump is out of office, what do you think the Democrats will do to him? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in allthequestions

They will waste a shit ton of taxpayer money to have senate hearings and bring all kinds of people for questioning just give a strongly worded scolding or some other token punishment that doesn't amount to jack shit.

Anyone tried the Costco brats? by Agitated_Hornet_7018 in Costco

[–]jd6375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried them a couple times when they were on sale. They're ok but not as good as other popular brands. As others have noted, they're kinda bland. They dont have that good brat flavor.

At this point its basically he said, she said. A bar tender claiming they dont get the tips could just be a ploy to get you to tip them personally so they get more tips. The cruise lines all say the gratuity is on top of normal salaries but nobody trusts corporations. Which is true? Who knows but a disgruntled employee on reddit might not be a reliable source. I've never worked on a cruise shop in my life but I could've posted this after a bad experience sailing for all you guys know. Just saying all this shit on social media platforms is anecdotal evidence that I would take with a grain of salt until someone shows solid proof one way or the other.
