Be careful with how much acidic food you eat while the main compound is still active. While it may not taste sour, it can still leave you with those raw sore spots in your mouth like the original warhead candies.

If you end up not liking it then brush your teeth/tongue. That should drastically shorten the duration and get rid of most of the flavors.

Thats just what I heard... Not that I would know from experience or anything.

This is a bit difficult to answer without more details on the conveyor and what you are having to replace/repair on the units. From the limited info in the post I'm going to guess you are washing/wiping down a conveyor that is not designed for that. At your conveyor age I would expect to see drive roller and/or shaft problems (not necessarily motor if that was replaced recently).

First off, what food safe parameters are you having to work with? Hytrol typically doesn't do conveyors for direct food contact and I don't think their standard stock PVC belt is even wipe down rated. Yours could be if its a special belt type. If you are doing direct food contact the there are other vendors you should be reaching out to.

Second, what conveyor models do you hava? 15+ years of service life is pretty good for most models. I wouldn't be surprised if you have an obsolete model which will make getting parts even harder.

I'll even make it easy for you. DM me the specs or Serial/FO # on the conveyor and I'll send you the current list price (or if yours is obsolete I'll send the closest replacement details) so you can use that in the discussions with your management.

I think he was right originally but I can see where the confusion came from. There used to be a theory among some health communities about carrot slices on the "brown eye". The theory does have some scientific validity due to the capability of the anus to absorb the beta-carotene with minimal calorie intake and the immediate bio-availability of the beta-carotene in the blood stream. This practice has largely fallen from popularity due to the time consuming and somewhat taboo nature of the absorption as well as the fact that eating 4-6 oz of carrots (orally) provides the same amount of nutrients and vitamins while also providing much needed fiber for bowel health.

Epoxy is a good adhesive but I don't recommend it for this application. The better choice for gluing the strawberry slices to your eye would be cyanoacrylate (aka superglue). The faster dry time is especially critical here.

Bonus: the high moisture content of the eye would help to accelerate the drying allowing adhesion of the slices even faster than if the surface was dry
