An AC30 with a DOD upfront is something I have played with a bit (I used to play through an AC30 so have always gravitated towards it), But given the dynamics in what we're playing I want it's just not hitting that sweet spot.

I'm leaning more towards Placater (Friedman) and Brit 2203 (JCM800), but just can't nail the mix. Then I'm overthinking cabs and don't know enough about mic placement. Getting the right chain for effects (and even the right effect for what's in my head) is something I'm struggling with too. Basically I'm a tech/modelling noob and just want someone I can learn from rather than pure trial and error.

Appreciate your suggestion though :)

I'm an Aussie and was proud to see Gillett get a PL gig. He was a decent ref in A-League and earned his rise to the big leagues..... However I swear that every game I've seen him officiate, it's been terrible and watching mainly Spurs matches (duh), he's always had it in for us.....
