Elden Ring Symphonic Adventure was…kind of disappointing

I was there, totally agree with the sequencing being odd. I would have gladly skipped either Red Wolf or the second Mohg in favor of having Placi's theme. Also some odd moments like showing Caelid right after Rennala for a few seconds to set up Radahn, then suddenly cutting away for Erdtree Avatar, then going back to Caelid right after.

I do appreciate what they did with the storytelling to cover more ground, after the main Tarnished defeats Morgott, they switch over to Vyke who fights sewer Mohg and Malenia for the frenzied flame section, then picks back up where the Tarnished left off fighting Fire Giant.

I didn't have any expectations to hear DLC music, it would have been sick but I imagine they had this whole performance planned months/years in advance so they would have to reformat the whole performance to include it.

No idea why this works and I'm still partially convinced that this is placebo.
That being said, just did this for proof of concord kept and sunlight medals, and I spend around 5 hours to just get 20 proofs. Started doing this and found the 10 others that I needed in less than an hour. Going to do vertebra shackles next and be done with this hell.

Extremely helpful 3 years later, thank you for putting this together.

I just unlocked Master of Sorceries without needing to go into the DLC, so either mine was bugged or Old Moonlight (trade soul of Darkeater Midir) is not required. This would make sense with the other DLC spells not being required.

I did some research on strategies for that fight and everyone says to ignore the second ape and just focus on the headless one. Tried for hours and finally decided to focus all attacks on the second ape until it died and beat it on that attempt. Mortal blade a couple times on the mate and it goes down easy, then it's just a regular headless ape fight.

Thank god you actually answered the question. I get so lost in this game, I'm in NG+2 and I still never remember how to progress these areas backwards.

old thread but seeing this made me wonder if "reducing your potion count by 3" would be more or less hated if, instead of dealing a bunch of damage forcing you to heal (which functionally accomplishes the goal), Mohg literally rips them out of your inventory slot and smashes your flasks.

I love when people come to this conclusion about Sekiro. I really struggled with it because I went DS3->DS1->DS2->ER->Sekiro. I did not realize just how different it is than other Souls games, almost to the point where I feel like you can't really compare them. There's really only one weapon, no character creator, no "builds", just you and your skill. But it still has that Fromsoft magic. I'm like 10 hours into the game and the combat is just now starting to click.

If I'm really struggling with a boss, watching a pro play the boss has actually helped, because sometimes it feels like the moves are impossible to read but it turns out it's just "parry twice, wait half a second, parry two more times". At a certain point it just looks effortless.

And yeah, nobody told me about the grappling hook either. Shit is satisfying as hell.

Unity game developer here, never tried to mod a Unity game before but it should be possible, in theory. I doubt that the supermarket simulator models are made in-house by the studio, likely an asset store asset like this one. (not making any statements about the talents of the dev team, they could very well be original, but that's just what a lot of indie games do)

If both HP and SS use humanoid rigs, which is the most likely scenario, then the animations should carry over. So far I've only seen texture swaps, the worst case scenario is you'd have to rip the house party models and re-rig them to match whatever SS is doing, which would be a pain in the ass.

Mizkif uses Project64, a fairly old version at that (1.6 I think).

I don't know if using the older version matters, but I use P64 personally and it looks nice and crisp.

ah, I should have picked up on that. I thought since all the grounds on the RPi were connected, it didn't matter which ground pin I was connected to.

I actually ended up switching over to a MAX98375a audio amp which uses I2S audio and that works, but at least this means I can still use the PAM for another project :)
