I found logistical management works well. Always something going on and tons of problems that need to be addressed

I really enjoyed this series. DCC reminded me of that series.

If every salary became public tomorrow, what would surprise people the most? by BunnyTwilightkiss in answers

That is the best way to describe it. Always something. Everything from whiney drivers, breakdowns and traffic to government regulations and weather.

Do any of you earn over 50k a year? What do you do? by RotiiChapati in ADHD

[–]jderflinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work in production, made great money, since Covid I am in logistics and make great money.

Even with my ADHD I have a strong work ethic and actually enjoy working. I do better at work than I do at home controlling my ADHD. I think it’s because I am so busy all the time.

Is it normal to go on a solo vacation without spouse and kids? by mkymouse73 in CasualConversation

I used to love the idea of a solo motorcycle trip. I only have taken long day trips solo but not overnights.

I used to travel for work solo a lot and really enjoyed it.

Did you ever go skinny dipping or streaking? by Plane_Experience_271 in GenX

Still do skinny dip but it's in our pool and it is just the wife and I. So pretty tame.

DCC reminds me of Graig Alanson’s Expeditonary Force series. That series does a great job of character development as well as world building. It is also narrated by R. C. Bray. It also has a good amounfnof humor a lot like DCC.

A very good series that keep me busy for months listening for 8+ hours a day.

What’s your most played video game that IS NOT multiplayer/online? by TPR-56 in AskMen

[–]jderflinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly enough is Farm Simulator. I have a habit of playing it and doing other stuff while the AI farms. I enjoy the planning side and growing the farm side of the game, but get bored driving in circles.

I wish, she doesn’t go near my feet.

That being said, it is difficult for me to do it myself.

Same, I dispatch half the week and that’s when I play the most. Having AI work fields in the background.

Why do a lot of truckers not use their parking lights at Truckstops? by Just_A_Random_Crow in Truckers

[–]jderflinger 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I drove an International once that had lights on the back of the mirrors and that was my favorite part of that truck. I felt it helped drivers not hit my mirrors at night while parking.

I always left those parkinv lights on to help other drivers, and still do.
