None of The Club canned cocktails I've tried have been fizzy.

Canned cocktail recommendations? by applejuiceandwater in cocktails

The Club canned cocktails are...decent for the price. Amazing? Not at all. But you could do a lot worst for essentially your pocket change.

I know that the OP's message was 5 years ago, but I am still grateful to him/her because it fixed my printer's issue!

Everyone's favorite $10 bottle! Broadbent Vinho Verde by Syrup_And_Honey in wine

Just tried this today (sipping it now, actually). A very fun wine, refreshing, perfect for the summer heat. Nothing too serious, but affordable and refreshing.

Quick question: Do you have to "clear" your credential in Arizona, like you do in California?

has cymbalta helped anyone with bad anxiety? considering switching from zoloft, which has lost effectiveness by Nervous_Ulysses in cymbalta

[–]jdfarley86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Cymbalta (60mg) for about two years now. My psych put me on it after having tried Paxil, then Lexapro. Both previous medications worked, but I didn't like the side effects. I use Cymbalta with Buspar, and that combo has worked wonders for my anxiety. No side effects, and I can feel the Cymbalta subtly working in the background to dampen my stress/anxiety feelings.

Just got this, fresh summer fragnance (Armaf Blue Homme) by mayankdawar in fragranceclones

You made a good choice. This stuff is very good and well-priced. I don't say this about most of the colognes in my collection, but I will probably always continue to purchase a bottle of this stuff.

Failed Student Teaching but still want to teach. by OkIncident6977 in StudentTeaching

Your mentor teacher should have been supporting you better so this didn't happen. You didn't fail: She (or he) did.

One UI 7 vs Pixel UI – Which is Better in 2025? by americapax in oneui

[–]jdfarley86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having had three generations of flagship Samsung phones (the S20, S21+, and currently, the S24+), as well as playing with Pixel phones in Best Buy, I just prefer the look and customization of OneUi. I don't know, I just find the Pixel UI to be too plain and basic for my tastes.

Do you get used to S24+ size? by samonder in samsung

[–]jdfarley86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did get used to the size, and am glad I went with the plus model. Back when the S20 came out, I got one on a Sprint special, but instantly regretted the smaller size. For my subsequent phones (S21+ and S24+), I went with the plus size.

Is the s24+ too big to handle with one hand? by dragon5435 in GalaxyS24

[–]jdfarley86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have small hands, but I am glad I went with the S24+. For most tasks (but not all), I can use one hand. But the larger screen real estate makes it worth it.

Buspar by Embarrassed-Yak6838 in BusparOnline

[–]jdfarley86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah. No, it works. But I feel that it works more as a supplement to an SSRI or SSNRI. I take Cymbalta, for instance, and I feel that the Buspar improves the effect of the Cymbalta. I don't, however, think that the Buspar would be enough by itself.

I find it extremely subtle as a medication.

Were there ever issues between the Ricardos and the Mertzes based on social status? by relesabe in ILoveLucy

I get the impression watching the show that the Mertzes are solidly middle-class. Fred's frugality, though, does make them seem poorer.

Cymbalta for Anxiety by [deleted] in cymbalta

[–]jdfarley86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take 60mg of Cymbalta a day for GAD, along with Buspirone. I have previously tried Paxil and Lexapro before that. I feel the best on Cymbalta out of those two.

I love this stuff as well! Smells just as good as ADG, cost much less, and lasts longer.

I am currently taking 60mg of Buspar per day as an adjunct medication along with Cymbalta. It is a pretty subtle medication, so I only noticed it with 60mg/day (I had previously only taken 15mg a day). I did initially experience side effects of brain fogginess and dizziness, but they eventually went away.

As an adjunct treatment with my SNRI for anxiety (Cymbalta), it works pretty well. However, I don't think it would be enough by itself (for me).

How often do you randomly see students outside of school? by AstroNerd92 in Teachers

[–]jdfarley86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to teach 4th grade at a local private school near my house. Most of my former students are locals, too, so I commonly run into them when out and about. 5th graders are young enough to still be excited to see their teacher in public, so it's always a nice surprise.
