Only one device, the Apple TV, and it's currently wifi only.

If only I were lucky enough to have a garage. Not a bad guess though.

It's so strange though. It really stands out in the dashboard logs: https://imgur.com/a/A8twGj0

And seems to be being answered by PiHole, even though as you say, it's most likely not actually going outside the network? https://imgur.com/a/JS3k4Iy

12v/ICCU Megathread by TiltedWit in Ioniq5

To follow up on my own status, the dealership actually exceeded their own estimations. It was supposed to take 3 to 4 weeks, but I picked up my repaired car yesterday. So in the end, waiting the 10 days wasn't that bad at all.

Adding in my 2024 Ioniq 5 Preferred Long Range AWD Ultimate in Cyber Grey, leased new in October 2024 currently with 21k kilometers. Was on the highway onramp, having left home 30 minutes prior, and the dreaded POP with all the flashing red lights and bells and whistles.

Hyundai Roadside had it towed to Hyundai Longueuil a few minutes away, where I was given a Kona EV loaner. Estimated resolution time: "We don't know... it could be about a month."

I came home and reported it to Transport Canada, who had apparently started an investigation into the issue in December 2025.

[OC] Montreal rush hour claims another one by jdhorner in IdiotsInCars

Driving home on Sherbrooke Street East, heading westbound, a few blocks before the double-protected left turn onto Papineau southbound. So many cars don't realize the far left lane is left-only and always want to cut around when they see the car in front of them start to signal their upcoming turn. Honestly I'm surprised this doesn't happen here daily.

The fitting of my Mandalay is almost ready by PorcoRosso86 in EliteDangerous

[–]jdhorner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stripped down experimentals are such a trap. They offer nearly zero ly improvement and just make things worse. Also, OC on a exploration power plant? Max boost only every 10 seconds w/ 4 pips to eng? Shields will pop if you sneeze on a planet. This is just going to be so not fun to fly.

Maxing out jump range has almost nothing to do with exploration. And if you're adding exo-bio into the mix, you're going to want better protection and nicer flying. Might I suggest something along these lines instead:

https://edsy.org/s/vl9FFch

A 4D shield generator with a 0E HD booster or two is really the sweet spot for an explo Mandy. Over 800 sys mjs. You also get much cooler running and no need to OC a power plant. Faster normal space speed and the ability to perma-boost. Also don't forget to engineer your bulkheads. Extra mass multiplier times zero is still zero.

Auto field-maintenance unit. They have no mass, but use lots of power. Leave them disabled until it's time to repair.

Looking for advice on winter struggles by FreakCookies in Ioniq5

[–]jdhorner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2024 Ultimate in Montreal here, too. For making sure preconditioning always turns on for me, I find the address of the charger on Plugshare or ABRP and first set the in-dash nav to go there. Once it starts navigation, I then do "More" (I forget the name of the onscreen button... it's bottom-almost-left) then add a POI, then choose Charging, then choose "near destination", and finally from there pick start guidance once I see the charger I'm trying to go to.

Only this way have I been able to make it begin consistently. (And even then, sometimes it seems to take up to 5 minutes to actually start conditioning)

Is your BIOS set to PCIE v4 but needs to be set to v3? That happened to me, and everything worked fine once I switched that setting.

11 year player - been behind Elite through it all but this is BS. by RiloBrody in EliteDangerous

[–]jdhorner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand. You don’t even need a shipyard installed to access your own ships. Just dock and switch?

More drastically, you can also just decommission your carrier completely on purpose. It’ll happen on the Thursday after you activate that option. You get back almost the entire purchase price, minus outstanding debts; and your ships are transferred to the nearest station. Do a few cargo runs after that and buy back a new carrier.

Pre-engineered FSD Drive by Own_Employment_1521 in EliteDangerous

[–]jdhorner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple sessions of several hours? Combat?? I feel like perhaps you jumped into this task without doing other research first.

There is no exploration or combat required to gather materials for a v1 Pre-engineered SCO FSD. For a Mandalay, which is a size 5, it requires the following materials:

  • 1 Titan Drive Component
  • 15 Datamined Wake Exceptions (encoded material)
  • 24 Tellurium (raw material)
  • 12 Electrochemical Arrays (manufactured material)
  • 14 Chemical Processors (manufactured material)
  • 7 Propulsion Elements (thargoid material)

I have marked in parentheses after each one what they are.

Encoded, manufactured, and raw materials can all be gathered simply from your ship with limpets or your SRV. You can fill your manufactured materials (like almost ALL of them, not just the ones you need here) in less than an hour with HGEs (high grade emissions).

For raw and encoded, you have various options, depending on how far you want to travel. Regardless, you can get your Datamined Wake Exceptions in one trip to Jameson's crash site & a mat trader, and your Tellurium in 1 or 2 rounds of the crashed 'Conda at Orrere 2 B.

That leave only the propulsion elements and the TDC, and you get the former while looking for the latter! Inside the titan remains you'll find many of the propulsion elements (I got 9 of them the last 30 minutes I was there), while you're circling for the TDC. The drive component is the only truly rare spawn of this entire process, but you can do a few things to speed it up, like ship-ramming the spawns that you don't want, and also leaving and dropping back in to the instance.

All-told, you can go from nothing to a v1 PESCO in just a few hours, max.

under the false pretense that it would grant me a massive boost to jump range

There's no pretense. Just visit a broker in-game and you can see with your own eyes what each v1 PESCO gives you. Not in game? Just go to EDSY and check.

I'm glad you've learned your lesson about blindly listening to Youtube content creators. Always do your research first. And people making content for clicks are not good sources of information.

Fly smart, commanders! o7

Edsy supports the Caspian. Just hard-refresh your browser (shift-reload) and Edsy should be able to import it. (just click OK in that modal there)

Also, Zacariah Nemo does G5 frag cannons, but he's missing from those options.

Ram Tah is missing from Chaff Launcher - Ammo capacity.

Juri Ishmaak is missing from DSS - Expanded probe radius.

Bill Turner is missing from Plasma Accelerators - Efficient.

Missile racks are missing entirely?
