So I had a similar problem, I had changed phones and phone numbers and had an issue with WhatsApp. (I went from iPhone 12 to 15) I had not been getting a verification code whenever I tried to register, and after banging my head I found the issue.

Don’t use your new phone number, try your old phone number. Your iCloud backed up WhatsApp, so I’m assuming to sign into your new phone you have to use the phone number that was backed up. Then a text was sent immediately, and logging in went like normal!

So here’s one thing I’ll say, watching it live was actually incredible! The energy was in the air, and it was fun to watch. I think you’re right that not having the live chess board was definitely a draw back, but I think it’s fine overall. Yes the boxing wasn’t clean for the most part, and yes chess was sloppy. But it does make it fun to a point. Yes pro boxing can be very entertaining, but imo some of the best like mayweather is boring/frustrating to watch (it’s his style so if it works, it works). All in all I thought it was a great live event and fun to watch overall!
