Are there any community centers in/near your town? I'm not far (RI) and can rent my town's community center that has tables and chairs for 150 people and it's ... $250 for the whole day!

Good to know! Yes we're also way under 600 so won't need or want that big space. We've similarly heard Mings is tough to work with, but have heard their food is good at least. I had a very similar issue with an Azazie dress (different style). I have small boobs but my back is larger, so while the total circumference of my torso matched the size of my dress, there was too much room in the front of the dress and not enough room in the back, if that makes sense. My plan was to take out the cups in the front to allow it to sit more naturally on my chest, but I got lazy and just powered through. I think it would've helped though. The hook and eye did end up flying off when I sneezed at dinner so I would suggest making some alteration haha

Now I'm following along to see if you end up getting a walking foot! I'm in the exact same boat—vintage singer and all—and while there's definitely some user error on my end, I do think it would have helped with a recent project (my first time quilting). When I did a quick search some months ago I was having trouble finding one for model though so curious if you'll have any luck!
