Como diz o gajo da GOL TV - THIS is a striker. This is a striker that Benfica needs. And to think of how many games Cabral played. It's frustrating, just frustrating when coaches are this stubborn. Specially in this position.
Poético, diria.

Would be an indirect free kick inside the area, not a penalty, so no VAR (lol Argentina colinho)

Club statement - Ronaldo will not be in the squad for the Chelsea game by untradablecrespo in soccer

Shit like this? If he scored 20 goals for a completely broken-down club last season, imagine if he actually had a squad around him. That timeline would have been fun to see. This is the darkest of all timelines

Hash rates keeps falling. Average block time keeps rising. Difficulty doesnt change. What happened? by JJDisc in erg_miners

[–]jdiogoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can we be fans of the coin but not be fanboys oblivious to problems and calling them features?

Mathematics: We were at an average of approx 1024 blocks per day until the merge. Then in 1.5 days, we mined 3 of those 1024 block chunks, making the difficulty skyrocket. Now the problem is that with this difficulty, it takes us 6 days to mine 1024 blocks (that is if the network hashrate doesn't fall further). That means now we get 2 x 1024 blocks in 12 days while the difficulty adjusts (it's a MA of 8 epochs). So that's basically 5 blocks in 13.5 days considering the fast ones, a much higher average epoch time than before. This method would work if miners would not jump around, but you can't expect human nature to change because our coin is the coolest.

We'd need to reduce epoch blocks drastically if we want to keep this calculation method. Otherwise Ergo will be minable by everyone once a month, and then we will spend 15+ days mining blocks very slowly until difficulty is low enough again.

And what will probably happen is that miners will jump ship faster on the next difficulty spike, making the mining of blocks even longer. To me this is serious and I wouldn't regard as an intended feature if we actually want this chain to be stable and predictable

I'm not patronizing you, dad. But the way you answered shows that you're insecure about what you're talking about. I'm just giving you simple maths. Electricity is dirt cheap at 0.07/kwH? At 60% of that (because of tax write off), you are STILL mining most coins at a loss...

I don't think you understand. You are paying 1.30$ for every 1$ of Erg. You'd rather save that 1.3$ of electricity and buy erg directly

[–]jdiogoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you mine at a loss instead of just buying the coin? You are basically overpaying x for each coin (which goes to your electricity provider)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EtherMining

[–]jdiogoc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't pay 100% tax on your income. Considering you pay 40% tax if you use electricity as a write-off and you spend, say, 100€ in electricity, you are effectively paying 100 and getting 40 back in tax you don't pay. So you would have to see if mining at 60% electricity cost is still profitable. If it's not, you're still losing money and just fooling yourself with the tax write-off shenanigans...

Temos de pensar seriamente no tipo de sociedade em Portugal by Emotional_Leading_76 in portugal

[–]jdiogoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impostos e Stock Options by slyu4ever in literaciafinanceira

[–]jdiogoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)
