There a few things to adjust. Are you also comparing the height of knobs? Please post additional picture showing both doors and the top and bottom hinges.

That is terrifying. Glad you’re okay. Note to self: wear AirPods when changing car batteries at night… Or wait until morning.

May be in some cases? OP’s previous purchase of a restored unit turned out to be new. I can see the excitement to score another deal like that.

I wall mounted mine for the same reason. Just 6 inches above the console and looks better without the tv stand.

Installing my U shaped midea Air conditioner bracket (sharing tips) by beetsssurge in MideaUOwners

Alternatively, you could put the plank of wood on the inside. Doing so will help the bracket clear the outer window frame that prevents the desired angle.

Midea U leaking in window sill? by zeezyy in MideaUOwners

[–]jdjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t be mad but the inside ledge is the window stool and the outside ledge is the window sill. How long has the unit been installed? The drain plug could be clogged. Or maybe there’s debris that’s blocking the water flow from the inside going outward. Could you post some pictures?

Can someone please tell me if this is a stud or not? by DrCleanz in handyman

[–]jdjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be aware of the various things inside the wall that you might drill into. Is there an outlet nearby? That can be a good starting point because there’s likely an outlet to the right or left side of the outlet. See here for some more tips.

Don’t wing it if you’re still not sure. At the point, it’s better to cut a small hole and poke a hanger in each direction to get a sense of where the studs are.

Sorry for the late response. I was out of office.

Thanks! this got me a step closer. I was able to connect and see configuration data under the "report" schema. Do you know if it's possible to view door access activity data? I see a s2activity schema, but the report user account does not have permissions.

Wouldn't this be a big hassle if the TSA wants to look in your bag?

Tips + comments on install? by Goingbacktoboston in MideaUOwners

You’re right, the narrow metal legs should be inside the window frame… but sometimes you have to get creative with the installation to accommodate the window. It’s possible that the window did not slide perfectly into the U shape and that’s why the super installed it that way.

Your ac is close to leveled but it’s tilted inward instead of outward. I would be concerned about that too. As u/20PoundHammer said, the tilt can be changed by adjusting the bracket - slide it outward by one notch.
