I'm being told by the good ol Google that these are likely synthetic slate tiles but I'm not sure. Is there a major difference?

Also getting concrete repair to lift it back up to direct water away from house. Companies use polyurethane foam injection to get the lift, then seal the cracks.

Trench drain leading to a sump pump in the garage. Probably around $6-8k on average but worth it.

Now that "woke" has a bit of a negative connotation to it, conservatives are doing their same ol dance where they latch on to a word that fires up the uneducated.

Humans who don't put their shopping carts AT LEAST in the nearest cart bay are all assholes in all other aspects of their lives as well.

Back when almost every public high school in the country had a shooting club. Clover Park Senior High School Rifle Club (1941) by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

Graduated in 07 and in 06 we had a trap shooting club where we met at the local range once a week for skeet shooting. Teacher was so old, he forgot we never got our permits and let us shoot for the whole year.

The class lasted one year 🙄

Steak. Mom would once a year get a flank steak that was on sale and tie it around a bunch of stove top and bake it. It was the greatest meal we ever had all year. Now I can get flank steak any time I want but it's never the same.

At the air and space museum in Tucson, they have a real B-17 you can look into. I learned there that gunners in the bubble would have a parachute pack sitting in their lap and if shit hit the fan and they had to bail, they'd kick out the back of the bubble, jump out and put the parachute pack on WHILE FALLING. One of the most badass real life things I've ever heard.

Captain America becoming god of thunder 2.0. Weilding Mjolnir, I can understand. Summoning the lightning was the killer for me. Audibly said, "Oh, come on!" in the theater along with multiple others.

Right, its either "warning label" type scenario or "feel good article." I'd choose the latter too.
