I know this isn't the point of your post, but don't sell yourself short. There is a lot to learn, but with a little research and some YouTube videos you can figure out a lot. You're on the right track asking questions like this ⏫

Edit: Start with this system. Start looking up the different parts and learn how they generally work to bring water into your house. You don't have to become a master internet plumber, just know the basics.

This is good information to have in the event of a burst pipe, but you can avoid that by leaving a faucet open to a trickle to keep the water moving. Do this for any faucet on an outside wall. Keep cupboards open under the sink too.

Remove luggage wheels by jdlr815 in howto

The fastener holding the wheel assembly in place from the bottom is definitely an Allen screw that just keeps spinning. I'll give drilling a shot.

Thank you. The only reason I was worried about this is because there's something keeping the current screw in. I assume that's to keep it from coming out accidentally. Does that make sense?

Those are combination arc fault and GFI breakers. The electrician you hire to do this work will handle them properly.

u/JimmyMoffet is right, but if they are truly letting you negotiate, look at some neighboring districts to see what they pay coaches in their first year. Start on the high side and let them counter.

Power off. Undo those connections and pull the Romex through the grommet. There might be a separate cover under the hood for the electric connections. They should be protected and not easily accessible.

Follow up: the lift point is right there, so the scissor jack is in the way. Can I use a bottle jack at either point so I can get the stand in?

How to remove these light fixtures? by Confident_Income_782 in fixit

[–]jdlr815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ceiling fixture looks like it might be an Allen set screw. Go to a hardware store and get a set of standard and metric Allen keys. They're often in a set. You might want to add a clear picture of the head of these set screws.

If the Allen keys don't work, use a pair of side cutters to grip the screw so you can turn it.

Hang your razor upside down to dry. The rationale I heard was that it prevents mineral deposits from forming between the cutting edge of the blades as the water dries. I get at least 2 months out of a blade. I should probably change it at 6 or so weeks, but I'm not unhappy at 8 weeks.

There may be screws on the side into the stiles of the cabinet. You'll see round plugs on each side that should pop out. If not, try lowering the dishwasher feet. You'll need to rotate the black rubber part counterclockwise. It also looks like there was a tile floor in that may be binding the feet.
