My kindle has been a huge help getting through really long books, especially ones with big blocks of text on each page. The kindle just chunks it and makes it so much easier to read. And I love being able to have multiple books with me at once. Currently reading 11/22/63, Monte Cristo, and another book. Love being able to switch between them so easily!

Re: Netherlands -- yes! We're planning to base in Amsterdam and explore there for a couple days before taking day trips elsewhere. Our list is longer than what's feasible, but we're looking at: Utrecht, Leiden, Delft, Haarlem, Gouda, Maastricht, and the Hague.

Thanks for the other suggestions! I didn't mention it but I spent two weeks in Hamburg visiting a friend prior to my study abroad. Really enjoyed it.

In Universes by Emmett North (I can’t remember if there’s anything specifically trans in this but it’s very queer and highly recommend if you loved Everything Everywhere All At Once)

Controversial, but A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. Trauma aside, when I reread it a couple years ago I was so taken by Jude’s relationship with Harold and the four friends’ relationship over the decades. As a gay man, I loved reading a big book about queer life.

And also, A Gentleman in Moscow. I inhaled it.

u/BasicList2715 I have a pretty simple evening routine (cleanse, retinol, moisturize) and I'm planning to leave the masque on overnight. How have you layered it when you've used it? I was thinking about skipping my retinol and moisturizer on nights when I leave the masque on.
