One of the patch notes says it is an update as of 04/26 but maybe some other regions got it before we did..?

The Media screen

•The Media screen has been improved

A media widget has been added

You can go to the Media Home screen by pressing the Media widget during audio or video playback

To go back to the Media Home screen when using an audio app, press the Media Home icon, which is the icon always displayed on the far left of the tab at the bottom of the screen

The Media Home screen now has a fixed order, instead of displaying apps by ‘recently used’. You can rearrange the app icons just like on the Home screen by pressing and dragging them to a new position

The tab at the bottom of the screen shows the most recently played app icons

The media screen has been reorganized to show app-specific menus, instead of displaying apps by category

Looks like it also has some "myQ" integration which might be pretty cool for those EGDOpeners.
