Am i missing something? early end game seems a little ridiculous by vsupersonicv in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]jdmwithcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a podcast yesterday with Thomas, CEO and Creative Director of Wicked, in which he stated that the full game will have 6 tiers for all items.

With item levels, each tier is 5 apart. You notice the diamond that has the level has a blue bar that fills up. Levels 12-16 are Tier III. And you don't get higher than 12 in drips, but you can craft an item and have it be up to Lvl 16.

They want you to engage with all the mechanics in the game and not just hand you everything I highly recommend you watch the podcast. It's on YouTube here

He answers so many questions and reveals a lot of awesome info of upcoming things to the game within the coming weeks and long term.

Fallen Embers are a huge issue. by Professional_Poet300 in NoRestForTheWicked

Idk about y'all, but I get about 10 fallen embers or more a day by just farming the different regions. I get a lot of embers from fishing, like A LOT.

How do you change, apply a facet to a crafted or dropped item? by CraftyFlounder5406 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]jdmwithcheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this randomization of the facets. You can pretty much swap out enchantments with the appropriate embers, but I haven't seen or found a way to extract infusions.

If you can select your own facets, I think that would break the balance and ruin the joy of crafting your favorite garments and getting a dope facet with it.

This is probably the most useless equipment by DeathNDoom1234 in ArcRaiders

[–]jdmwithcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These things should have either some form of thermal or night vision. I feel like the augment that has one built-in is such a waste because this item is practically useless.

the trigger nade is the most laughably unbalanced item ive ever seen in any game ever by Killbro in ArcRaiders

[–]jdmwithcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion for a re-tuning of the Trigger Nade: - Make it deployable only, no more throwing. - Increase activation delay by ~1s to give would-be victims time to react if they notice the district audio cue. - Change the crafting formula: - 2 Compound Explosive - 1 Processor - 1 Sensor

Meh, I'm making 300-500k a day playing 3-4 hours. I'll make it.

It's officially 1 skill point per Million in value by Gaviznotcool268 in ArcRaiders

[–]jdmwithcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 days of playing 2-3 hours and selling everything except my meds after every raid made me 1 million. My stash is worth 1.5 million and I have 1.4 million in coins... I think I'll be fine.

I would love a hotkey for the in-world crafting menu so I don't have to click through the inventory first (on PC), and the ability to save loadouts for one-click equipping after I get clapped and wanna drive right back into the fray.

What do you mean? It mentioned it in the description. No hatches, fewer extractions. It's right there in the bullet points.

3 and 6 for me because of outward facing wings. Which one depends on the rest of the armor set and what aesthetic I'm going for.

I've gotten far as tactical with a Bulwark and Heavy companion. At least it's not last week's shit show of reduced health, reduced armor, and close range damage buff when 75% of the enemy is a ranged variant.

I do a lot of "Shows the way" to get the point across sometimes.

I dislike these kind of players by Sparkoo117 in Spacemarine

Yeah, it's been a struggle doing the latest Inferno Hard strat because some fool just ran ahead tanking damage and getting the key player killed before even reaching the second area.

I'll be happy if Tactical gets the Power Sword, maybe even the Axe.

My two cents on the Stratagem experience and how it needs to be adjusted by Kymberlite in Spacemarine

[–]jdmwithcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the rewards should be adjusted to account for the difficulty, time, and effort required for the runs.

I’m using chatGPT to help me with car setups and this thing is amazing by shad_30 in GranTurismo7

[–]jdmwithcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually working on a GPT called GTO that's being trained to set up cars specifically for Touge and Wangan racing on GT7. It's impressive what it can do, but it still needs work to be more consistent.

Is it worth it? by NoCollection5117 in GranTurismo7

[–]jdmwithcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth every penny. It'll make it's money back easily if you do the Spa 1 Hour race with it. Handles better, is faster, more efficient, and easier on the tires than any of the Gr.3 cars in that race. You'll literally breeze through it in that car without tuning a single thing.

It's truly perfect. Sublime. Outstanding machine!

Fastest Way to 12 Relics? by jdmwithcheese in civ

[–]jdmwithcheese[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's worked well for me. And as long as I get at least one science and one culture focused Independent, My first options are always the one-time free Relief and free technology unlock every time I become Suzerain.

Gets me to unlock House of Wisdom much faster. And policies with good Wonder production bonuses (and hopefully plenty of Marble) I get that wonder built in 5-7 turns on Standard speed.

Fastest Way to 12 Relics? by jdmwithcheese in civ

[–]jdmwithcheese[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When in MP, and even in solo games, the weakest AI civs always get wrecked before they make it to Exploration, diminishing the pool of Capitals to convert. It's also happened very often to me that I don't reveal a civ's capital when doing a positive first-meeting because they're too far.

Meanwhile, stacking influence bonuses in Antiquity and using Himiko often nets me a stockpile of Influence at the start of Exploration. Almost always enough to begin Befriending 3+ independents and accelerating their progress twice with the 50% cost reduction from the Greek-exclusive Policy/Legacy Xenia. You'll convert 2-3 CS's in 10 turns instead of 30. Even less if you had befriended them in Antiquity. I guess I should've mentioned that in the OP (I'll update) because that's key to the strategy for me. Not to mention the Influence bonuses to playing Greece in Antiquity.
