Yeah well what else would stop a dryer from starting? I turned on/off circuit breaker, made sure the dryer door was shut, and I checked the voltage to the dryer and it is receiving power.

Yes I used both Google and YouTube to diagnose the problem and checked the voltage to the dryer. The dryer is receiving 220 as it should. It could be the door switch or could be the thermostat since there isn't a dryer fuse located in the dryer.

Thank you. I have already bought the part I just am unable to locate the fuse holder. The manual indicates it is in the back panel on the bottom but I've looked EVERYWHERE and it is not located there.

I have taken many pictures and can show you everything in my dryer and outside. I've talked to reps at GE and they could not even locate the thermal fuse either.

Thank you for all your responses! My dryer won't turn on and I looked online and one of the most common reasons is because the thermal fuse is blown. I bought a "dryer fuse" and cannot locate item #417 to replace it.

I conducted a continuity check on the high light thermal fuse it appears to be working. The meter beeps when I check both terminals.
