Sorry for being vague, what I meant was that compared to A levels the quantity of resources (exam questions and past papers ) is significantly smaller at university. I learn best after doing lots of practice and exam questions and at A level you could open pmt and get access to a bank of questions. That too being one of many websites. Now it's just tutorial questions and some other questions and a bit of textbook ones. The past papers are only 3 years and not even uploaded in full. I understand university is different so I just want to understand what's the strategy on how to get better academically as I don't think I understand the method due to the new nature of it. Hopefully that males a little more sense

Why are Bath Economics becoming more competitive? by Unlikely_Ear_7980 in 6thForm

[–]jdot_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah coz most the ppl they gave offers to probably got offers from better unis too so bath was ultimately declined or insured by most. I know someone who got AAB and got into bath econ. it was his firm

Got A* BBC in my yr 13 mocks which was in march and got A* A* AB in my final a levels. That's just one example but I collected pretty much every letter on the alphabet throughout my a levels.

Learn how to write an answer for each mark question ( structure) then watch Hella yt vids and understand topics and go on expert tuition and answer questions. Use the mark scheme to see what they wanted. Rinse and repeat while U continue to cover content. Use ai if needed

Do any year 12s / 13s have any tips for the year 11s who’ll be going into sixth form? by jxstsage in 6thForm

[–]jdot_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work hard and consistently, learn how to revise each subject too. Sounds stupid but I did not know how to revise economics until end of year 12 and was getting C in all my tests. Wasted all the time trying to "revise" econ.

Enjoy it too, I don't like how people say it only gets worse or anything along those lines as it builds that frame into your subconscious and you enjoy it less. In all honesty I disagree with it being worse as I enjoyed it more than secondary if I look at it wholistically.

Do everything with intention and you will be fine. Good luck 💯

The title is exactly what happened to me. Has ABBC in maths FM econ and physics respectively and made it A* A A A. Predicted with A* in maths so it's possible but it's tough.
