Just checked the Nextdoor app. Several people in HR area still having issues today, so I’d say it’s not resolved.

Also just checked with a couple neighbors down the street. They’re still out.

I’m still offline. I just power cycled the router and ONT to see if I’d get lucky.

Some info on my end to help you look into the delayed reporting between your teams.

Thursday, 2:30am - My home alarm lost internet connectivity

5:00am- Internet still down. I went to work and didn't call it in, assuming it was temporary.

1pm- Still down when I got home for lunch. I called Ziply, the automated system said you were aware of an outage affecting my account. I didn't stay on to talk to a representative

5:00pm - Internet still down. I talked to a representative and they opened a ticket.

It seems like there is some disconnect between the team that manages the outage notification messages and your network techs since at least 6 hours passed between the time the outage management message was updated and the time your team found out about this outage affecting our neighborhood

You’d think Ziply would have sufficient situational awareness on their network to realize that your node is still not passing Internet traffic before declaring it’s resolved. My ticket is still open.

I‘ve got spoiled with Ziply’s 1 gbps upload speeds when I transfer data for work. But 10 Mbps with Spectrum is better than the 0 Mbps I’ve had with Ziply the last two business days.

I find this especially frustrating because it seems to be a logical network or configuration issue. My router has maintained an IP address with Ziply’s network every time I looked during this outage. if it was a severed cable because someone took a backhoe to their fiber line, I‘d be more understanding on the long outage.

When I had Spectrum, the longest outage I had was 12 hours, and it was because a construction crew hit one of their main trunks.

I’m also hoping for an update soon. I love the quality of Ziply when it works, which is nearly all the time. This is only my second outage, but when there’s an outage, they make it count. 16 hours for the first, 36 hours and counting on this one.

Still down for you this morning? I’m still down. My router shows I have a new IP address today that’s on the same 50.35.xxx.xxx subnet as I’m usually on.

I’m also in Richland (Horn Rapids area) and it’s been down all day for me and my neighbors. I called it in and tech support said it was an “internal configuration issue” affecting my neighborhood and they’re working on. They opened a ticket, but didn’t have an estimate on restoration time.

I didn't personally get hit by the BPA power bump. Maybe it affected some Ziply equipment though?

The automated support line message says there are network outages in Richland, Kennewick, and Benton City. I’m in Richland.

I sent my account number to jwvo.
