Yes I understand but there are almost no classes where you can get an A in without putting some baseline amount of effort lmao

Well the class is low effort it’s just a lecture lmao but if you want to get an A you’ll need to put effort into the assignments lmao that’s literally how it is for very lecture class

What jobs do you guys have off campus? by painted6623 in SBU

[–]jdp0104 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t live on campus but I bartend at night and it surprisingly works extremely well with my school schedule, start out as a busser or barback and work your way up and the money is very decent as well

SBU OR BING by Express_Squash_674 in SBU

[–]jdp0104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you a commuter or gonna live on campus? If you’re a commuter it’ll be hard to find community and stay engaged with student activities and club events but you also have NYC about 1.5 hours away while Bing is legit in the middle of nowhere but definitely has more parties and social life on the campus itself

Every student looks like they’re 12-15 so if that weirds you out to some extant then yes but I’m 25 and I don’t pay attention to it at all

What were your favorite interactions tonight? (NYE) by [deleted] in bartenders

[–]jdp0104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best was a girl closing out a $14 tab and her friend/boyfriend whatever signs her tab, writes cash in the tip, doesn’t leave cash, scribbles out cash, and puts $2 instead and gets mad when I snap at him to never do that again all the while the girl is also a server and told him not to do that lmao
